We used them for our in-city move in Silver Spring, MD and found them reliable. No damages or scratches to our precious belongings thanks to good packaging and careful handling.

Great bunch of guys handled my belongings with care and taking out the furniture from my old place didn't leave a mark. He is easy to communicate with and always available. Definitely recommend them. They handled a 3 bed apartment with some basement stuff in no time. Would hire again for the next move definitely.

These guys are experienced and hard workers. 4 hours straight of nearly non-stop lifting of very large loads. Definitely not slackers. They knew how to safely but efficiently pack my van. Without their help, I might have had to get another Uhaul. Thanks guys.

They were so professional, very fast and efficient, and super nice! They then got everything into my storage unit when I realized I didn't have room for everything so the one gentleman actually had to take it all back out to put different boxes in there and move the other boxes to the house. They were very friendly and never complained or seemed bothered. I would absolutely use the company again! Also was able to get the move date I wanted and received a confirmatory call a couple days before. Five stars all the way!

I was amazed at how fast and the movers worked yesterday. The movers finished a 9 hour move in 7 hours. I'm glad I took the advice of a friend who previously used this company. I would use this company if I ever choose to relocate again.

The only reason I decided to hire this moving company was because a friend of mine used this company. I liked how they packed up her stuff. They labeled all of her boxes with black markers and signed their names on the boxes. Unfortunately, I didn't have the same good experience my friend did with the way they packed my boxes. I really wish I did the packing myself. They only labeled kitchen boxes using a pen and a highlighter. I suspected they used my pen and highlighter. Most of the boxes was upside down, when I opened them, my stuff fell down to the bottom. It was pain in the neck to clean them up. Unpacking took more time than necessary. I was especially grossed out on how the movers used my trash bin to pack up my stuff?! I wasted the money I paid them to pack, I wish I could take it back. I wouldn't hire them to pack my stuff again.

Very quick move from Beltsville to Essex . I don't have many things but I requested the best crew they have because of damage on a previous move from another company. Everything was wrapped and handled with care. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

My family was absolutely amazed at the professionalism and efficiency of the A-1 Movers. They took great care handling our furniture by wrapping each piece before moving it into the truck. Watching them felt like you were watching a factory production crew work with precision movement. The move took about 7 + hours and they worked through every minute only stopping to drink water. All 4 movers were very friendly and patient through some of my indecisiveness. Without hesitation, I will always refer A-1 to anyone in need of moving assistance. Their process gets the job done right.
