A 1 Pest Control

We have used their service for managing rats. We have three rat bait stations at our home, two outside of our home and one underneath our house. Every two months they come to the house to refill the bait stations, with the hope that eventually the rats will stop coming.

Several times, I was unable to be home when the service was performed. The tech providing the service left notes about what service had been performed. On several occasions, they did not leave detailed information about how much bait was replaced in each of the stations. As we have been paying for this service for quite a long time, I became increasingly frustrated that this service was not ridding us of rats as promised since we had not indication that the level of bait being eaten was lessening.

The company did not provide any details about how much bait, leading me to believe that they were not performing the service. I complained to the company when I received my invoice. The response I received was that the tech said that 75% of the bait had been eaten. However, this occurred almost six weeks after the service, and there was no indication that the tech knew which house was being described or any indication of the number of bait stations. I still do not believe that they have been performing the service that I requested.

I asked for a credit for the service in question, and that future service require the tech to provide detailed notes about how much bait was added to each station. I received no response from the company other than another copy of the invoice.

I cancelled the service, but want to push the organization to provide better customer service for others.
