Review: We reserved a Limo bus from A1 Quality Limo's company The Party Ride. a couple months ago for our wedding on 10/*/13. A deposit was required and I paid with my credit card. It is now 11 days before my wedding and I was trying to contact The Party Ride to confirm times for pick up and drop off and the website is no longer available, the one phone number is constantly busy even all throughout the night, the second is disconnected. My fiancé again tried to contact [redacted] who she had contact with prior and no answer from the email address as well. I have looked up the owner as A1 Quality Limo, who has the exact same phone number ###-###-####, ###-###-####, both of which are not working. We received no notice that they were closing, moving or anything. The company has not contacted us once since the payment was made. With the wedding being 11 days away and that we need transport for 24 people in the wedding party we have had to find another company to provide services.Desired Settlement: I believe the company at the least is responsible for refunding our deposit that we made for Limo Bus services on 10/*/13.

Review: I booked a Party Bus through this company and gave them my debit information so that they could debit money on 3 dates to pay the balance in full over time. The dates were 6/**/13, 7/*/13 and 7/**/13. The first payment deducted was was on the appropriate date of 6/**/13. The second deduction scheduled for 7/*/13 was taken out 3 days early; 7/*/13. When I called the office they were closed to the 4th of July Holiday. I finally spoke to [redacted] on 7/*/13 and explained to her what had happened. Not only was she rude but she told me that talking to me was like "talking to dumb ears". I them contacted [redacted] who was the initial person I spoke towhen I book the party bus. She apologized and blamed the issue on a server malfuntion. After speaking with [redacted] I kept our arrangement and did not cancel my contract with the. BIG MISTAKE! On the day of my event their party bus never showed up. I tried contacting them via email and telephone; however, they would not return my emails and the phones were continuously on service. I had 16 girls that were expecting a party bus which never came. I spent an additional $400 on taxi cabs to bring us back and forth from Queens to Manhattan. I have yet to get in contact with this company or any of their employees! I lost a total of $1340.00 and I am furious with this company and cannot believe they ruined my bachlorette party.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is to be reimbursed the amount paid for the party bus which is $940 in addition to the $400 I wasted on cabs that I had no choice to use because I had no other mode of transportation!

Review: I came to the company for a party bus for my 21st birthday event that is planned for October *, 2013. The company charge me $1425.00 to rent the bus for the day. I made monthly payments to pay down the total so that I would not have a big bill on the service day. I paid the company the amount of $600.00, I called to make another payment however the number was disconnected so I tried to reach out to them by internet, but the site was not active. I need to know what do I do to try and get my money back that I put out. Please help!Desired Settlement: Since I did not or will not receive any service from this company I would like my money back in full.

Review: I booked limo service for a party van to carry 25 people to NYC from Connecticut. The company pre-charged my american express card in full for $1260.00. One hour before the pick up time, they called and said the bus had broken down. They did not show up with a replacement. We had to put 25 teenagers on a train to manhattan to make a party in time. Then via email, the party ride said they would refund my credit card. The charges were made on June *, 2013 and to date, they have not answered emails on phone calls and no credit card credit has been issued.Desired Settlement: They owe us a MINIMUM of $750.00 for the cancelled van.

Review: I reserved a Party Ride bus and provided in excess of $2000 deposit. About 10 days prior to pick-up date, company's website disappeared and no one answered the phone. I was able to contact the dispatcher as I had his cell phone number, and he said the company went out of business, but is rebuilding and that it would provide the bus. I cancelled the reservation, in accordance with the terms of the contract, and am chasing for a refund. No one has gotten back to me. I think the company is now operating under the name Big Apple Limo Buses ([redacted] as the site has pictures of the same buses and names of the buses as the Party Ride web site had. The previous reviews and complaints, which I am embarrased to say I neglected to check, are all accurate.Desired Settlement: I would like my entire deposite returned.

Review: I booked and paid in full $1550.00 back in May for a party bus for a 21st birthday party scheduled for this Friday, July **, 2013. I have been calling all week and only getting an answering machine, which I have left multiple messages. I can not get ahold of anyone and the website for the company has been taken down. The information on the conformation email was The Party Ride [redacted] phone ###-###-#### fax ###-###-#### I contacted them through their website [redacted] in the beginning. I have seen that there are similiar complaints against them.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund because as it does not appear they will show up for the scheduled event which now has to be cancelled. $1550.00 paid and no service was given.

Review: I have no idea what to do with this horrendous situation. I had used a bus company (thepartyride) for prom weekend. The total was for about $13,000. When buses came it was the wrong buses from the beginning and when buses came back to pick us up from wildwood I ordered 3 buses but only 1 showed up. It was supposed to be 30 kids on each bus but since buses didnt show up they told me to fit all 90 kids on one bus over the phone. I have videos and pictures of all the kids on one bus and back to back emails with the company. It was a HUGE safety issue where the buses were tipping at points and everyone was sitting on top of each other, in the bathroom, on the stairs, on the floor, it was chaos. I have all receipts and contracts from this company and have the cashiers checks copies I sent them as well. They said they would send me a $5000 check for a refund of all the problems and it should take a month or month and a half. I've waited from mid June because they said the check will arrive end of July middle of August. I called the company and it looks like they shut down or went bankrupt or something. No one is answering my emails their and there automated telephone operator or website isn't working any longer. I don't know what to do so please let me know what the next step should be. It was a very unsafe matter and the bus company said they would send my refund. I have all emails, paper work and proof of this case. It is disgusting that a company can be such a scam for so much money.Desired Settlement: The $5,000 refund they said they were sending. By now it should be a total amount because of how unsafe everything was. I have proof of everything.

Review: I had reached out to this company for an event on June [redacted], 2013 but we had to cancel. In our contact it states that all deposits are refundable. Our deposit of $200.00 was requested around May [redacted]. It is now July[redacted] and we have been given the run around about how long it will take for our refund to be processed. We paid using a debit card. It should not take this long.Desired Settlement: A refund in the amount of $200.00 Our next step is filing a small claims case.

Review: I RESERVED A PARTY BUS FOR MY DAUGHTERS PROM IN THE BEGINNING OF MAY 2013, ALL THIS WAS DONE OVER THE PHONE. THE RESERVATION # WAS [redacted]. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD $200 JUST TO HOLD THE BUS AND THEN $1350 WHEN I FINALIZED THE DEAL. I WAS TOLD THAT IF I CANCEL THEY WOULD REFUND MY DEPOSIT. I HAD CALLED BACK AND CANCELED THE BUS A FEW DAYS LATER. WHEN I RECEIVED MY BANK STATEMENT, I REALIZED THAT THEY CHARGED MY CARD $1550. I HAVE BEEN CALLING FOR THE PAST 2 MONTHS REQUESTING MY REFUND. I WAS TOLD THAT IT TAKES 30 DAYS AND THEY SAID, IT WAS SET UP FOR A REFUND BUT THE PERSON IN CHARGE WAS OUT AND I WOULD HAVE TO CALL BACK. I HAVE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES AND ITS BEEN LONGER THAN 30 DAYS. NOW THE PHONE NUMBERS ARE NOT WORKING. I STARTED SEARCHING FOR THE COMPANY ON LINE TO FIND OUT THAT THEY WENT OUT OF BUSINESS AND THE THEY GO UNDER ANOTHER NAME CALLED BIG APPLE LIMO BUSES. I AM NOT SURE HOW CORRECT THIS INFOMATION IS. I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THE CHARGE !Desired Settlement: I AM LOOKING FOR A FULL REFUND, I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THE PARTY RIDE TO CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD.

Review: In November of 2012, I rented a party bus from this company. When the bus arrived, none of the ammenities that were described in the product description were functioning. This included lights (Laser, strobe & disco lights Fiber optics throughout Smoke machine), fog machine , and the ipod cord was damaged for the stereo. It took months to get in touch with [redacted] who I was directed to contact for the issue, and in February she authorized a refund to my account that I booked the trip with for $250. After this, I followed up month after month as to why this refund never hit my account. I have been in contact with customer service reps from the company but could never get in touch with [redacted] since she authorized the refund. Then, about 2 months ago the phone went busy every time I called and the website disappeared ([redacted]). Every contact option I could think of was eliminated before the refund was ever provided.Desired Settlement: I would like a fair refund to be processed.

Review: I booked this company back in November of 2012, gave them a $300 deposit and on July [redacted] without my knowledge they took another $200 from my checking account. I have been trying to contact them by phone and email for the past two weeks once I became aware of this withdrawal and have gotten nothing but busy signals and no response to my email. I called the operator to find out the number is disconnected. They now have $500 of my money and I needed to find another limo company 2 weeks before my daughters wedding. I do not know where to go or what to do next to get my money back.Desired Settlement: I would like my initial deposit of $300 back as well as the $200 they took without permission.

Review: We contracted for a luxury limobus from The Partyride for my daughter's prom. Since my daughter has [redacted], she needed a limobus because it was equipped with a restroom. We needed the bus at 5:15 the night of her prom (6/**). My daughter was at an outside preprom party with limited restroom facilities which is why we needed the limobus there promptly @ 5:15 (so she would have a restroom available if needed). She had 29 other people signed up & paid for this 30 person limo. The bus was 1 1/2 hours late! I started calling them @ 5:30 when the limobus wasn't there yet. After having difficulty getting through to someone, I finally did & they informed me the limobus was 2 minutes away. This went on for the next hour, leaving my daughter totally anxious & stressed as to how to handle her bathroom issue. She had to wait in the restroom at a nearby restaurant. After the bus finally came, the condition of the luxury limobus was nothing like it was advertised on their website. The outside of the luxury limobus had all the paint chipping off & it looked terrible. The inside of it was run down & smelly. The limobus that was advertised to seat 30 passengers comfortably was also very cramped & there was hardly enough room for everyone. At that point, the kids did use the bus as the were already 1 1/2 hours late for their prom & had already missed the cocktail hour. I was also informed that the bus rode like an old school bus & not anything like a luxury limobus. This bus was contracted for $4,500 for which the company has agreed to refund $500 which doesn't even cover the cost of the bus being 1 1/2 hours late. The 29 other parents & myself originally started requested $2,000 back which is less than 1/2 the money. We have now come down to $1,500 which would be a $50 refund per person. (1/3 of what everyone paid). I have sent four emails to [redacted] who has not responded to any of them. I have made more than enough phonecalls and have spoken to [redacted] who tells me we have to sign that we will accept $500 back, otherwise no refund. Trying to reach them today, you can't even get through at their number. I have read about numerous other complaints about this company. In my emails, I let them know I would be contacting the Revdex.com, and still no response. This company's website in no way represented the condition of their products. I also read online about two other complaints for the same night as my daughter's prom and those people never even got any limo at all. Due to the lateness of the limo, my daughter's entire night was ruined because of the stress it caused her not having the limo there equipped with a bathroom! This was the only reason we went with a party bus instead of just a regular limo. That driver needed to be there on time! For someone with [redacted], this is a major problem! The 29 other kids were also extremely upset about why there limo was so late and want a refund.Desired Settlement: $1,500 refund ($50 per person) to compensate for the bus being late, missing of cocktail hour of prom & the poor condition of luxury limobus

Review: I contracted with this company to provide a party bus from New York City to Atlantic City on June 1st with a pick up from Atlantic City back to New York on June [redacted]. The bus they provided us broke down outside the Lincoln Tunnel and we were stranded in 90 degree weather on the side of the highway for 90 minutes. We were initially told that we would have a new bus in 20 minutes but that was a lie and we were continually lied to about when a new bus would arrive. The manager finally arrived with a new bus and stated that he would refund our $300 deposit back on the credit card I had put the deposit on. That refund has still not been credited back to my card. the new bus they gave us did not have working air conditioning and we were all sweating for the duration of the 2 hour ride. We asked them to turn on the air and the driver told us to open the emergency hatch on the ceiling to get air into the bus. The next day we called to confirm that our bus would be picking us up on time and the company confirmed that they would be. However, at the time we had contracted to be picked up, 4 pm, the driver was still not there and when we called the company they said the driver would be there in an hour. The driver or the company never bothered to call us and tell us the driver was running late. When we called an hour and a half before our pick up time to confirm the driver would be there on time, we were lied to and told he would be on time even though at that point the company knew the driver had not even left New York City yet and would not be on time. When we called the company to see where exactly the driver was, they could not give us an answer and said they thought he would be there in an hour. We waited another hour and the driver still did not show up. I was forced to pay another $800 to another limo company to get a ride for my group back to New York City. Their bus never even showed up and never called us to tell us he had arrived at the hotel to get us. I paid Party Ride through a Money Order weeks in advance, which they required, so I have no recourse in getting my money back other than through the company or through legal means. This company is a scam who stole my money and provided inferior service the first day and no service the second day but still got paid. There are a lot of complaints about them. I have repeatedly tried calling the company but they will not return my calls.Desired Settlement: Give me back the full amount I paid of $1285

Review: I booked The Party Ride back in February 2013. I ordered a party van to transport my wedding party to and from the church and banquet hall where my wedding day festivities are scheduled to take place on 10/**/13. Back on February *, 2013 The Party Ride sent me a reservation confirmation and I paid them a deposit of $250 via check. They cashed my check immediately. Fast forward to today, 8/**/13. I tried to contact the Party Ride to inquire about the remaining balance of $850 I am scheduled to pay them. When I tried to call them, their number does not work. They have also taken down their website ([redacted]). I then proceeded to do a [redacted] on them and have discovered they have ripped off a lot of people. I have no way of getting in touch with them and just want my deposit money back.Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded the $250 that I gave them via check as a deposit.
