I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint I* ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

I did not mean anything derogatory when I described the employee who was with you when I had you come back Tall, thin, with tattoos was only a description since I did not know his name and you stated you had not been back I apologize for my description and regret that you thought I was associating the quality of his work as substandard because he has tattoos Let's get back to the real issue without any more excuses. The customer states nobody will tell her how long the job will lastThere was nothing wrong with the original soffit that’s been in place since the house was built years ago, other than the paint plugging it where someone had painted over itI would’ve guarantee my workmanship for the next years for any of my work that was not compromised by my competitors, who have obviously sabotaged my work in order to gain work for himselfOn viewing the photos provided by the homeowner, it is obvious damage has been done since completion of the jobFor instance, the photo that states there is no crimp in the end cap shows there is, in fact, a crimp and the area above it has been pried backIt also appears there has been a screw withdrawn in the photo where there is a wave in the gutterThe wave occurs when a screw is not put in all the way, or not put in at allThat is not the way I installed this or any other gutter systemNor were there any missing hangersAgain, this is not the workmanship I completeThe customer states the competitor said they knew who completed the job, due to my “signature” installationThere is only one company that would be able to identify my work from said “signature”That is because I taught them how to install itI also taught them the proper way to install guttersThey started their business about two years ago after *** how to install gutters and bought a gutter machineTo say he goes around saying he fixes my work is a blatant lieNot only do I guarantee my workmanship that isn’t damaged by competitors, I guarantee you they don’t even have a *** *** contractor’s license authorizing them to be doing any type of work on any home, such as *** *** located in ***I will provide a link here, where that information can be verifiedIt can be searched by either name or license number (mine is ***) ***m When I said I never heard from the customer, I was referring to the issue of the hangers not being clippedI had been there and talked to the homeowner concerning how the soffit was installedIt was raining the day I was thereI believe that would’ve been a highly appropriate time to point out the issue of a leaking mitre if it actually existedOverall, I do quality work and, yes, I stand behind my workmanship and do believe my years of experience of hands on labor qualifies me as an expert in my fieldI do not subcontract my work, I have a valid contractor license, and have thousands of satisfied customers who can validate my workmanship and guaranteeI’ve had less than 1% warranty issues in the last years, so that says something in itselfThat includes only three Revdex.com complaints in that time frame, one of them being this oneI don’t make money on warranty service, therefore I do the job right the first timeTHAT was my point is the statement I made to the customerThis customer has had issues with the last numerous contractors she has had complete work for herMy company will not stand for such behavior, and I certainly will not warranty a job that’s been blatantly destroyed by another businessThis customer will continue to be dissatisfied, because I will not provide a refundThe job was completed properly and was satisfactory to the customer when we did a walk around of the job at time of paymentOn a final note, I am going to address the statement concerning the crew member with the “tattoos”This man has been on the same jobs from which I’ve received referrals and referencesStereotyping an individual doesn’t change the quality of work they doIt only emphasizes the ignorance of the person making an assumption

I installed the soffit the same way it was done initially; the proper wayIt is installed above and beyond the top of the brick and attached to the plywood on the houseInstalling J-channel on the top face of the brick would only compromise the integrity of the brick jointsThere is
only, at most, a quarter of an inch or less of area to work withSuch simply cannot be doneThe homeowner's issue is highly unreasonable and is contrary to our professional practiceAs for the gutter hangers....it is not necessary to "clip" to the back of the gutters, as such practice is dependent on the structure of the job. It does no harm to the integrity of the installation of the gutter system for the hangers to be installed this wayThere are actually gutter hangers of the same style made without clipsAgain, it is dependent on structural needs as to whether or not the hangers will be clippedThis customer has not reached out to us prior to this complaint to resolve any questions or issues she may have hadI've been installing gutters for yearsMy experience and workmanship in the field is highly reliable
