her card back. She hung up on me. I tried to call her right back and there was no answer.I am so very sorry that she felt that she was not treated fairly. I do not like having to charge the extra rental fees that are put on us from Multnomah County. All rental companies here have the same charges.My understanding of this transaction was that Penske Truck Rental did not have any trucks available for local rental and Bill was trying to help her as she need a truck right then. He did this as a favor to her. The truck that he rented to her belongs to our commercial rental fleet and is not usually used for household rentals. I feel that he went above and beyond what he needed to do. Her rate was lower than the current rates. Her deposit was supposed to be $200.00 plus 1.5 times the estimated rental.We will gladly refund her full charges of $266.44 as soon as she stops in at office so we can swipe her credit card. We cannot issue refunds over the phone and the refund has to be on credit card that was used.We look forward to clearing this matter up immediately.

I received a call from Joyce, Monday July 10th. I was at work and barely had any service. I also didn't feel comfortable speaking with her, since our last conversation was not successful.
In her recent response that you sent me today, she stated that she called and spoke with me regarding a refund. Now, as I said, we did not speak nor did she state she would refund the whole amount that she originally charged. I have a voicemail from her, from the first day that we spoke regarding the charges before I made this complaint to the Revdex.com (06/30/2017) that says she will ONLY refund $20.00 - Now, there was also no favor done, I called A-1 Rental the man, Bill answered. I asked if they had any trucks available to be rented for the next morning. He said they were out of Penske trucks, but they had A-1 trucks available. I asked how much per day, per mile. I never asked him for a favor, nor asked him to charge me less per truck rate, or deposit rate.
I would like to resolve this issue, and if she is willing to refund me the full amount, I accept. But I would also like for her to tell the actual truth on what happened and what was said. Because her letter, is far from the truth.

Review: Prior to coming to A-1 rental, we had issues with first company on renting a bouncy house for our daughters birthday which was Saturday, June 14th from 1-5. We were directed to go to A-1 rental because of the issue with the first company we reserved with on the day of my daughter's party. It was about 10-11 am on Saturday June 14th when my boyfriend and stepfather went to rent a bouncy house for my daughter's party that day. They rented the bouncy castle with my credit card and brought it back to my grandparent's house where the party was being held. They proceeded to try and set it up, however, it was 2.5-3 hours later and it still would not fully blow up. My stepfather found a hole in the bouncy house and we called to see what we could do. The guy stated he did not check it before giving it to us and he would send someone out to put up a new one. Well he send guys out to set up a new one however it was already 4pm and my daughter's party ended at 5pm. Children had already left the party and they did not get to use it to the full extent they should have been able to for the price we paid for it. We called to see if they guy could work on the price and give us a discount. We agreed he would refund $100 first thing Monday morning. I called Wednesday June 18th and the money still was not in my account. My boyfriend followed up Tuesday June 24th and he told us each time he had refunded it that Monday and it takes a while sometimes to refund the money. I have called my bank twice and they do not see anything on their end and have told me it should not take more than 10 business days. Well it has been over ten business days and there is still no refund in my account.Desired Settlement: I would like $100 refunded to my account if not the full amount for the hassel of trying to settle an issue that could have been solved had he checked the bouncy house before renting it out to another customer and refunded the amount like he said he did multiple times.
