Hi ***,In response to the claims this customer makes in the email chain below I did speak to him both via the phone when he called in requesting cancellation less than one year into his contract and via email when I sent him a copy of the contract*** is one of the owners, he work in the
office with me and spoke to him as well.*** let him know not only that he is still under contract we intend to hold him to the terms he agreed to in August of last yearHis service was absolutely monitored up until the time he disconnected it If a customer chooses to disconnect their panel, it is up to them to call us to rectify the situationI personally did not call him back when he disputed the contract because *** took it upon himself to call him personally. I have attached a copy of the agreement MrAshutambong signed with A-SecurityWhile we do occasionally offer month to month contract or ones that are less than years if the situation warrants it that was not the case for MrAshutmbong as the contract I attached would have had the year term crossed out and initialed by the sales rep and the new terms they agreed on written in the body of the contract before he signed itThis is something that also would have had to get written approval and signed off on by our Sales Manager & Co-Owner Sofia before we ever even scheduled the installation. As you can see that is not was negotiated with himJudging by the signals we received it is our belief he had another company take over the monitoring without any regard to the current contract he was under and he is now trying to get out of itWe gave him over in equipment for which we only charged a fraction of that in exchange for the contract by which is how we make up the upfront cost of his equipment to our business. He also makes several erroneous claims in the emails below such as saying he received different phone calls where he was told we would cancel I was actually present in the room when *** called him and at no time did he say anything that would give him that impression..I did conduct an internal investigation to his claims with the assistance of A-Security ownership and these were my findings.Please let me know if you have any addition questionsThank you. I am rejecting this response because:he company is failing to acknowledge the error made by their Sales Rep and their response indicates that Aexpects their clients to not trust their Sales Reps and know the inner workings of their companyMy regret is that I ever called Alast year, asking for a month to month agreementThe Sales Rep claimed that this would be the case back then but Ais refusing to acknowledge this because of a clerical error on the part of the Sales Rep. Even though the Astaff keeps implying that I am a confused customer, I have records of the phone calls I received and the unique call I made to Aregarding this issueThe first call initiated by myself was to casually cancel what I was 100% convinced at the time was a month to month agreementThe second call was from a gentleman who told me that he would be setting up a time to come pick up the equipment installed by A1: a cellular monitoring device and garage door sensorBoth wildly available in the marketplace for a combined $or less at wholesale pricingnot over $as suggested in the reply to the Revdex.comThe third call from someone who had no idea who the gentleman was and who told me that the person in charge of contracts would call methere was no such courtesy follcall, which prompted to reach out to Avia email again. I am NOT making these conversations upThe Sales Rep did state multiple times when she was at my home that the agreement was a month-to-month oneI want to point out that I had done my market research at the time and was agreeably surprised that Awas willing to offer month to month agreementsThe monthly charges I agreed to pay ($a month) were higher than the general industry average but I was led to believe by the Sales Rep that the higher costs she was quoting were due to the fact that I was not locked into a long-term contractI fell for what appears to be a scam. A1, through Maria, are not being truthful in their claimsAs far as I can tell, there was never an attempt to research why I was being charged the company's month to month premium rate for a "five-year" contractIf the company refuses to acknowledge the mistake of their Sales Rep, I will continue to pay their monthly fees while researching other potential legal optionsI am not in breach of contract just because I am questioning the validity of a 5-year contract claim.The company has also not acknowledged my request to share the names of their legal Representatives as well as business ownership contacts so a more open and honest research can be conducted to resolve this dispute without potentially expensive court proceduresAs part of the dispute process, they erroneously decided to cancel my contract and charge me the full amount for the remainder of the "year" contract with the implied threat of referring my good standing account with them to a collection agency instead of researching my claims and presenting me with potential options, that could satisfy both parties.
