A 1 Sprinkler Reviews (1)
Inproperly charged for a service call ordered by their own sales rep in 2012. Thought the matter was resolved but recently received collection letter.
This is the letter we sent to the collection agency, and we can supply the attachment referenced in the letter:
Ms. [redacted] Drive
Dispute Reference No. [redacted]
Ms. [redacted] would like to dispute the charges that A-1 Sprinkler Company has turned over to your company for collections for the following reasons.
On June 11, 2012 [redacted], a sales Representative from A-1 Sprinkler was in [redacted] to quote a new alarm system and told [redacted] Store Manager, that the current A-1 Sprinkler alarm services were not being transmitted. [redacted] sent two (2) repairmen to check it out, [redacted] did not request this service. Two service repairmen came to [redacted] June 12, 2012 and said the time and date displayed was off. The repairmen reprogrammed the date and time and found that there was no communication fault nor had there been any communication fault, therefore, there was never an issue.
[redacted] received an invoice on June 20, 2012 for $250.00. [redacted] called A-1 Sprinkler on June 28, 2012 and spoke to [redacted] and told him [redacted] would not pay this invoice as there was not an issue. [redacted] believed that matter was resolved as shown by the attached Statement from A-1 Sprinkler dated December 31, 2012 showing there was NO past due amount.
[redacted] did not receive any statements regarding this invoice until November 30, 2013. December 26, 2013 [redacted] called and spoke to [redacted] at A-1 who said that there was no past due amount. Meanwhile, [redacted] received a letter from [redacted] dated December 18, 2013 informing us that A-1 Sprinkler has turned this matter over to collections.
[redacted] believes there was never any issue in the first place therefore no reason for any repairman to be sent to [redacted] and no reason for an invoice. [redacted] has paid all service invoices due to A-1 Sprinkler. There has been NO statements showing a past due amount and especially due to the fact the December 30, 2012 statement shows no past due amount that [redacted] does NOT owe A-1 Sprinkler any past due amounts.
