To whom it may concern,In response to ID[redacted] submitted on 1/28/2016 we stand by the price that the customer paid. The $185.00 that the customer speaks of was to release her vehicle at the scene which was located at ** [redacted] in Allentown, PA during the city's posted snow removal....

The customer did not have the money to pay for us to release her vehicle on scene and it was then towed back to our impound yard. At the time of the tow the customer never asked what the price would be back at the yard to release the vehicle. The original price given to her was the flat fee for all release on scenes during snow removal and the price of $350.00 back at our impound yard is the flat fee for all vehicles towed due to snow removal. In order to help our Customers better we did not charge any storage for the first day of the vehicle being on our property and we also stayed open an additional 4 hours every night that the city towed for snow removal to allow the customers' time to pick up their vehicles before they would receive storage the following day. Finally, in response to her accusation of our employees Cursing at her, that is a false statement. Our employees do not curse at our customers, she is the one that called multiple times over the course of two days being very difficult, loud, and using inappropriate language towards our employees. In conclusion, l, Christina R[redacted] office manager, deny her request for a billing adjustment because there was no wrong doing on our part.Christina R

Review: My car was towed on 12/09/2013 from an address in [redacted] PA to [redacted] PA. I contacted my car Insurance company to provide emergency road side assistance because my car would not start or go into gear. The battery was not dead and there was gas in the vehicle. The Tow company listed in this complaint assured my insurance company and myself that they would send out appropriate machinery to tow my car because it could not go into neutral. I left my key under the driver side mat for the mechanics. The tow driver called me and assured me his time of pick up, I than reminded him to not attempt to put my car in gear as it was resisting, he replied OK. A while later I called the dealership/service repair shop to see if my car got there. I was informed that it had, and my key was stuck in the ignition and my gear stick was forced into gear and stuck and they where making effort at the dealership to get my key out of the ignition but they could not until the car would go back into gear. I called and attempted to speak with A1 towing regarding this matter. When I spoke to the dispatch person and the supervisors it seemed like the accountability was being misplaced. After A1 towing supervisors told me they would not help me and I should call my insurance company than hung up on me numerous times as I attempted to find out why this happened as I called numerous times before my car was towed and after attempting to make sure my vehicle was not forced into gear and that it go there safely. Despite my communication effort my car was further damaged while in the care of the stated tow company and I did call my insurance company to make a report.Desired Settlement: A1 towing to resume financial responsibility for any and all mechanical issues that were caused by not following initial instruction and complaint pertaining to my Individual car needs while being towed and in their care.
