A-1 Towing

Went to company on 3-12-12 to do recycling of scap. Check was written for amount of services. Went to bank cashed check and 4 days later found out the check bounced. Bank informed me there was a fee for bounced check from business. I went down to business and made them aware of the situation. I asked for cash to replace the bounced check and fee from bank. Business refused to give cash stated they only had checks. I stated I was willing to accept another check and see if it goes through along with the amount the bank charged for bounced fee. Business was unwilling to pay the bank fee and also provide another check for the amount that bounced. Business stated that it is not illegal to bounce checks. I let them know I would file a complaint and the business again stated it is not illegal to bounce checks, handed me a business card, and told me have fun getting back what is owed to me. I offered to call the bank for the fee that the bank charged for bouncing the check. I provided the business with a copy of the bounced check from the bank.
