in this day and age people in Kingman don't pay attention who screw who and ignore the situations that they get screwedmaybe it is procedure to do business in manner that they rent machines and waiting for them to break and blame customer responsible for itapparently I am not one of them and will accept telling me that I broke tires and be responsible for them their equipment is the face of their businessI guess "you getting what you paid for" is very trueif machines were in working condition they would not break especially if they were maintainedapparently even workers who work for A-have admitted that owner is trying to cut on all necessary maintenanceand their reputation in town is well known for the shady business they providei was given bad equipment and was never told that I wont be able to finish my workI have wasted weeks where I have put gallons of diesel have worked 2hours and had not done the job I paid to rent the machine for , just because machine was not maintainedI had to get someone to finish what I started to do and pay additional money for that job

I received a letter of complaint today 9-24-14. I had to read this letter more than once, as I could not believe that a complaint had been filed against A-1 Tractor.  We have been in business in this town for close to 15 years and never had a complaint. As a...

matter a fact A-1 Tractor was just asked a few weeks ago to join the Revdex.com and had past all checks done by the Revdex.com.

I rented a backhoe to [redacted] on 8-13-14 , not [redacted] named on complaint. [redacted] had come in a few weeks prior inquiring about renting equipment and the price. The normal delivery rate to [redacted] address was to much for his budget. [redacted] had asked if there was any way we could give him a better price and I advised him that if he wasn't in a hurry I could send it out with another tractor to save him some money. A tractor was delivered the night of 8-13  for him to use early the next morning. I had received a call from [redacted] stating the tractor was having problems. A mechanic was sent out and dirty fuel was in the machine, which was not the renters fault.  A replacement machine was brought out the next day [redacted] had used the machine all day ,at the end of the day [redacted] had called and said he had a flat tire. It is clearly stated in the rental contract that CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL TIRE DAMAGE. It is necessary for customers to be aware of this, when doing dirt work there are many objects that can cause damage  to tires without the customer even realizing it.  I am attaching a picture of the rim, it was so badly bent it isn't even repairable  and a new one had to be ordered. With that being said there is no possible way the rim was in that condition when delivered it was damaged by the customer.

In this case the renter got a lower price on delivery, used a backhoe for one full day and refused to pay for the damages he caused on the  machine. [redacted] has since called and asked us to continue to do business with him, and wanted to pay an operator to come out and run a tractor for him.

Are history of good service is evident in the fact that this is the only complaint we have had in 15 years. What is truly unsettling about this situation is that we went above and beyond to help this customer out. No refund will be issued.  If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact me @ [redacted].

in this day and age people in Kingman don't pay attention who screw who and ignore the situations that they get screwed. . maybe it is normal procedure to do business in manner that they rent machines and waiting for them to break and blame customer responsible for it. apparently I am not one of them and will accept telling me that I broke tires and be responsible for them . their equipment is the face of their business. I guess "you getting what you paid for" is very true. if machines were in working condition they would not break especially if they were maintained. apparently even workers who work for A-1 have admitted that owner is trying to cut on all necessary maintenance. and their reputation in town is well known for the shady  business they provide. I was given bad equipment and was never told that I wont be able to finish my work. I have wasted 3 weeks where I have put 120 gallons of diesel have worked 2hours and had not done the job I paid to rent the machine for , just because machine was not maintained. I had to get someone to finish what I started to do and pay additional money for that job.
