Review: I had a check engine light on my truck and took it to my garage man and was told it was transmission problem and he recomended A-1 Transmission over in [redacted] and this man charged me nothing to find this out.I went over to A-1 Transmission to make an appointment for work to be done. They charged me $45.00 dollars to diagnose problem and could not even get the truck in for another three weeks because of his employee's vacation. The work was completed and I was charged $738.13.I asked if work was guarantee and was told none on electrical parts ,but maybe on the work.I could not get solid answer there.Had the truck home for day or two and started to notice drops of transmission fluid in my driveway,I got down and looked under it and found a shop rag still stuck up in truck and noticed the fluid was coming from the pan.I took the truck back to A-1 for them to check it and was told that they would look at it for free but wouldn't give me answer if the truck needed work that it would be included in orignal bill. They couldn't check the truck out for another two days ! The truck was taken back and when I picked it up I was told they adjusted the gasket (this was done for no charge).I continued to see the leak so I took it to my mechanic and he told me the gasket was broke and pan was bent from overtighting. That cost me $185.71, I then went over to A-1 Transmission to show them the pan and see if they would consider paying me back for this bill and was told by the man at the desk that he didn't know what he could do for me and very smartly said "Have a nice day Sir".Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded my bill of $185.71 and the man at the desk be taught some manners and how to deal with working with the public.

I am rejecting this response because: I took my truck to my mechanic on Feb 13,2013 for it to be checked out for the check engine light and my mechanic told me it was transmission problem and he recomended A-1 Transnission. I drove over to them the very same day and they checked the truck out right then and told me the problem.I never had appointment on Feb.8,2013 that I never showed up for.I waited two weeks for for my appointment because of employees vacations.I can even tell you were one was going and what he was doing ! The person that was with me heard the same conversation , my appointment was made for March 4, 2013 and truck was dropped off night before. When I took truck back second time ,I was told "the boys adjusted the gasket , nothing about new gasket or fluids was told to me. Why didn't he tell me at that point to bring it back if any more problems ? I had the work done correctly at my mechanics and he was the one who told me to take the pan and the bill out to them and see what they could do . I did not storm in there and ask for any amount of money ,I showed the pan to the person at the desk and was told he didn't know what he could do about it and started to walk away and I said I am going to call the Revdex.com and he told me very smartly to have a nice day
