A-1 Weston Masonry and Concrete

Review: We hired Weston A-1 Masonry for masonry work which was accomplished. During the process our basement stairs had to be demolished. I asked the owner of the business if he knew anyone who could build us wood stairs. He said his son-in-law was a licensed contractor, and that he would ask if he could do the stairs for $300. The next day when the work was completed on the basement, I asked again about his son-in-law. He said the work would be strictly "on the side" and that he would come that following weekend. So Sunday came along and an employee of Weston A-1 Masonry named Andy came and did the job. We can't even barely get into our basement because the stairs are so high. My husband had a licensed contractor from another business look at the stairs. He said it appalled him and that the job was done illegally. We have been trying to contact [redacted] from Weston A-1 Masonry with no outcome for the past 3 days.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund of the $300 so we can go to my husband's licensed contractor so he can finish the job right.
