Review: The repairman came to repair garage door. He was asked to repair one (1) broken cable and install two (2) new cables. Instead he removed both springs and repaired the one (1) broken cable. He stated, " he removed the springs that were originally on garage door because they were overkill." We called him back to check on door because the door wasn't opening smoothly, so he oiled it and took back the receipt. There was nothing wrong with the springs that were on the garage door so we don't know why he felt he needed to replace them.Desired Settlement: We would like full refund or the original springs back.

My name is [redacted], I am the owner of A2Z Garage Doors. I feel obligated to defend myself and my business especially when there is no truth to this complaint. About 3 weeks ago I did do a repair on this mans garage door. He called me and told me he needed his springs replaced. So I went out to his house to replace them. When. I arrived at his house I looked at his garage door and explained to his wife that the company that had originally put the springs on had put the wrong springs so I would replace them with the correct ones. As I replaced the springs I noticed a cable was broken so I informed the wife that one cable was broken the other one was fine and she gave me the ok to fix it. I completed my job, she was happy with my service and I left. 3 WEEKS later I get a phone call from this man who filled this complaint saying his door didn't run smoothly. So I went to take a look at it, ran totally fine but I oiled up the door for him anyways FREE of charge. When I was all done he proceeded to tell me that he had wanted the 2 cables replaced and why I replaced the springs. He kept accusing me saying I fixed the wrong this and he would call the cops to get the springs back. Why did he wait 3 weeks to call me and complain about this? Why would he want both cables fixed if only one was broken? And why would I even look at this springs if he Had not asked me too? Bottom line this guy was having a bad day about something and I was the guy he took it out on. I take pride in my business and company and people like this have no right writing reviews that have not truth to them.
