I regret any inconvenience that this person may have experienced. There is no contact information for him in any of our company files or information.I have passed his concerns on to the appropriate people in our company and directed that there be no contact.His listing on Linked In, the site
to which he referred, will probably still lead to contacts or contact attempts by other recruiters or companies with job openings in the future. Employee and job candidate recruiting is the most common use of that site. He may want to modify or eliminate his listing. He lists excellent, high demand, skills. The note that he has at the bottom of his profile will probably not keep people from trying to recruit him or, at least, network with him to others they might recruit.Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.*** ***President

I've heard the same exact response from this company each and every time they call my place of work and I ask them to no longer contact me.They claim they have no record for me, but I'm sure my information would come up if they scraped my data from LinkedIn.They have told me they do not have a system in place that ensures they never contact me again, and I will not accept that as an answer This is harassment!! Even telemarketers have an obligation to comply with contacts when they request to no longer be contacted, or submit their phone number to the National Do Not Call Registry Why is this any different for a company such as this? It is not acceptable to down-play my requests because they don't have the right software, which I'm sure is easily available (knowing this, being a Software Developer myself).Years ago, I had modified my LinkedIn online account to no longer show personal contact information, yet they use indirect data to find my current employer and are transferred to my work desk phone Yes, they go OUT OF THEIR WAY to call me at my place of employment! I should not have to delete my online account to keep these vultures from swarming If they really feel the need to contact me, then doesn't LinkedIn (the same source they use to scrape my data) seem the most appropriate method of contact?I will not accept their lazy excuse for not implementing common business practices!
