FROM: AA Abalone Plumbing & HeatingRE: ID# [redacted] **We appreciate notice of this matter We find the complaint to be vague and suspicious - being that work was completed in January 2015, and we have not heard from consumer until now The date specified by consumer does not coincide with the completion date.In response to consumer stating that phone calls were not being returned is untrueWe have not heard from the consumer and Abalone Plumbing was not aware of this issue until receiving a call from the Revdex.com.As for the plumbing repair that was done, it was explained to the consumer that the property has existing polybutelene piping which has been rated substandard and it is recommended for homes with polybutelene to be replumbed because pipe is known to fail and has failed in thousands of homes It has been made public in regards to polybutelene failuresAfter this was explained, the consumer chose not to have the entire house replumbed and elected to have only the repair doneAt that time we explained to consumer that we could not guarantee polybutelene piping which was put in writing.We were hired by the consumer to repair a leak which was located underground in bathroom area where concrete needed to be removed to expose leakBefore and after photographs were taken in regards to condition of property before work started.In response to consumer's complaint for scratched tile and cracked concrete, we find to be unsubstantiatedDuring the repair and completion of said work/repair, Abalone Plumbing conducted a walk through with consumer in regards to cleanup and any other issues and wants the consumer may haveAt that time, consumer found no issues and consumer signed off "satisfactory completion" which we have on file.The vagueness of this complaint is suspicious because consumer did not call us, consumer did not supply receipt from other plumber, consumer did not supply photographs of work/repair done by other plumber, and consumer did not specify where repair was made by the other plumber.We want to add again that we did not receive a call from consumerAny work that is warranted by Abalone Plumbing, is covered by Abalone Plumbing and work/repair will be performed by Abalone PlumbingIf repair is done by another Plumbing Company where there is a warranty specified, Abalone Plumbing's warranty becomes null and void.We want to thank the Revdex.com for assisting us with this matter
