A A Budget Car & Truck Rentals (Saskatoon)

On 2017-12-04 I rented a vehicle online and prepaid through *** from budget rental to pick up at the Saskatoon airport. I rented for approximately 3 weeks after losing the keys for my vehicle while on vacation in Saskatoon. I picked up the vehicle and spoke to a the employee by the name of *** and told her what had happened. She told me I could return the vehicle if I found the keys. Three hours later I found the keys and returned the vehicle to the same location. I dealt with another employee who took the vehicle back and said they had to charge me $100.00 for the day but the rest $600.00 would be returned to my *** but she had to send an email and expect it in 5-10 business days. Did not receive refund, phone call or email. On December 26th I phoned the customer services line and spoke to someone who said they would not be refunding the money as the policy was not to refund prepaid online rentals. I explained that they had taken the vehicle back and told me I would get a refund. I then spoke with a female supervisor who advised that the policy was that they don't refund prepaid online rentals but that they would refund me given the circumstances and told me she had to send it through and it would take 5-10 business days before I saw it on my *** and to reference my confirmation number ***. On 2018-01-06 I received an email from [email protected] from ***. Saying that they would not be refunding me and sent me the policy saying that there terms and conditions prevent them from issuing any unused prepaid amounts. ***
I was told if I returned the vehicle early I'd receive a refund, the vehicle was taken back and I was told I'd receive a refund and I was told by customer services I'd receive a refund.
