We are sorry that the couch was an issue on this move for Mr [redacted] We strive to make moves as easy as possible and with extreme care given to our clients possessionsThat said, there is a bit more to this situation than stated in the complaintFirst, we have a signed invoice stating we would hold the couch "for up to months free of charge, would repair the damaged leg, and would try to sell the couch in that time." We did all of those things as statedWe repaired the leg and the couch sold in monthsAlso, we researched the couch and it was listed at a much lower cost at the several stores we found this model in-closer to $450.00, not $When you look at the cost of the couch, what we paid him for it-$150.00, not $100.00, plus $worth of free time to see if the couch would fit, and $worth of free storage, the final difference is only $Given that it is the customers responsibility to determine if the items to be moved will actually fit into the new home, we feel we have dealt with this situation fairlyLastly, the scraping of the couch he mentions occurred during our attempts to get the couch into the new home, and Mr [redacted] was actually assisting us at the timeIt was never, ever intentionalWe did everything we could to try to get the couch into the home, it simply would not fit.Again, we are sorry for the problem, but have dealt with it fairly [redacted] PartnerA & A Easy Transitions, LLC

hold the couch "for up to 6 months free of charge, would repair the damaged leg, and would try to sell the couch in that time." We did all of those things as stated. We repaired the leg and the couch sold in 2 months. Also, we researched the couch and it was listed at a much lower cost at the several stores we found this model in-closer to $450.00, not $700.00. When you look at the cost of the couch, what we paid him for it-$150.00, not $100.00, plus $100.00 worth of free time to see if the couch would fit, and $100.00 worth of free storage, the final difference is only $100.00. Given that it is the customers responsibility to determine if the items to be moved will actually fit into the new home, we feel we have dealt with this situation fairly. Lastly, the scraping of the couch he mentions occurred during our attempts to get the couch into the new home, and Mr. [redacted] was actually assisting us at the time. It was never, ever intentional. We did everything we could to try to get the couch into the home, it simply would not fit.Again, we are sorry for the problem, but have dealt with it fairly.
