I can’t believe the lies from A&A Mid Sierra Truck & Repair. He did not have to look for the problem for I showed him what I needed and all he wanted to do was argue. He then got on phone for half and houre an urinating in rest area. I call my boss and he sent a picture of the hose with part number on it. He argued and I told him take the hose off and go get a nother one. He went to Sparks Nevada to get the part for [redacted] saw him for I had cald her and told he what was going on and what he looked like. [redacted] lift Sparks with another load and while going by Verdi Nevada she saw him again coming out of [redacted] with three bags of food. when [redacted] got to the rest area she gave me some food and talked. She said it raind a little at Wells Ave 80 and no accidents. I checked with [redacted] and got on line and found there was no accidents. I then went to eastbound 80 rest area and are them called my wife at 1:08. A&A showed up at1:45 and said it was a down pour and there was four accidents. He put part on in 10 min the antifreeze. At 2:20 he got done with paper work. I checked on price of hose $11.80 and antifreeze $87.70. A&A said $20.80 for hose and $94.50.

Our rates are $110.00 per hour port to port and a dollar a mile port to port with a minimum 1 hour labor rate of $110.00 per hour. If our rates are not acceptable to our callers they are free to call someone else, on call 24/7 roadservice is a convience to our customers. Otherwise they to have their own truck towed to a shop or contact a dealer and wait a day or so for help at their convience.1.      As for refusal to do substandard or non D.E.M. repairs at customers request will not happen at our company because our liability insurance will not underwrite or pay for repairs if they go bad.2.      After determining parts run was required our mechanic was dispatched to another job and I was dispatched to run for part in my service truck. I was traveling on Hwy 89 a two lane mountain road between Sierravile and Truckee with speed zones of 35mph to 50mph when I got the call. Approximately 20 miles outside of Truckee. I put the pedal to the metal got ten miles down Hey 89, rounded a corner and ran into traffic backed up on that 2 lane road for over a mole with a sighn flashing there was 25 minute to 45 min delays due to construction. Cal Trans was escorting traffic down one lane both ways. Now on Hw 89 as luck would have it. There is little or no cell service in that area. I couldn’t receive or call out. Once traffic was moving I got to an area and saw 2 alerts on my cell I called dispatch back and advised of hold up and advised to call my daughter – who was in Reno taking care of … business. She drove over to dealer and picked up part. My wife paid for customers part with credit card over the phone as we don’t have charge account with that dealer. My daughter picked up part and took to Truckee. While I was waiting in traffic on Hwy 89 a severe weather warning alert came over the radio for flash flooding in parts of washoe county and surrounding areas. Later that day while eating dinner my daughter commented she had run into a severe downpoor of rain and had to pull over till passed by she said there were a few fender benders also (minor). I commented back there was nothing in Truckee from mountain. A pick up traveling at 65+ miles per hour in warm dry July wether after driving through a rain shower on a mountain pass would be dry by the time it reached Donner Summitt. It is industry norm when bying and selling parts. There is a markup between whole sale and retail to cover handling expences. The price the dealer quoted customer is whole sale. We sell retail. (30% to 60%) westock our own antifreeze it was not purchased at dealer. The hose we did not have in stock and had to be purchased at dealer. We have multiple service trucks and employee working on broke down trucks on I-80 and the Truckee D.O.T. scales. The mechanic working on the truck was punched off their job and working on another truck at the Truckee scales, enclosed is a copy of our invoice which I will break down. As I said before our rates are $110.00 per hour and a dollar per mile from base back to base. We have a 1 hour minimum charge on road service labor --- $110.00. im sure Mr. [redacted] charges minimum for pickup an delivery for part run charge of $175.00 s a flatrate charge 70 mile round trip from our base to Sparks Nev. No matter weather or traffic condition or store location. Parts run charge does not cost the customer anymore money regardless if we go to the bathroom or stop for lunch. One of our base locations is at Glenshine subdivision it takes 15 minutes to reach Hwy 80 and Hirchdale-Below Truck scales and agg station checkpoint. From Hirschdale to Donner Summitt is twenty minutes total 30 minutes one way or 60 minutes from mechanic’s base location a $110.00 per hour. He made 2 trips to truck location, $220.00 travel time from mechanic’s base to truck location. Our $50.00 mileage charge is for 2 trips to the downed truck. At a dollar per mile (covers fuel, oil, tires, and wear and tear replacement of vehicles). I hope this explanation of charges on Inu # [redacted] is satisfactory all concerned. The trucking industry….. figured by freeway miles, not by surface street miles + freeway miles. We are a 7 day 24 hour Emergency Road Service. That means we stop what we are personaly doing and help a total stranger deal with his or her breakdown problem and get them running again and making money and soon as possible. We are not a discount service we are an emergency service. If you want to set repair pricing for roadside repairs then do them yourself don’t call us and tie up our equipment and employees as we have way too many customers who appreciate our services over the past 37 years in business. Which include gov’t contracts – Walmart UPS FedEx [redacted] too many to court. My desired settlement of this matter from Mr. [redacted] is:1.      Given an explanation of what went on on our side. I would like an apology for calling me a lair and cheat from Mr. [redacted].2.      Lose my phone# and don’t call our service no matter how much trouble you are in. there are other services out there, try them!!3.      And next time you are unhappy about pricing or suspicious of an employees actions call and talk to the owner or manager of the business and not assume the worst, Mr. [redacted]. Thank you,[redacted]

Review: On 7-22-2015 [redacted] Phone [redacted] had a problem and stoped at Donner rest area. I was behind her on way to Reno. I [redacted] tradided he trucks. I found the problem a slice in a 2 1/2 in hose in front of the engine in open space and easy to get and change 10 minutes. Two bolts on two clamps.

When A&A Mid Sierra Trucking got there & showed him. The 2 1/2 inch hose had a whole in it. I asked him to take it off and get a new one or give me some tops so I could get to Reno.

He said we don't do things like that and I said take it off. He argued with me and I told my Boss [redacted] and he texted me hose with part number. He got on phone for over half an hour and doing so urinating right there in rest and parking lot. After he finally got off phone he argued with me and I said take it off. He finally did.

A&A was gone for a long time so I called A&A shop in asked what was taking so long and he said they were paving the road. He lied because there was no paving there to sparks.

I called [redacted] and he told the game they were playing and A&A and what he looked like. She called back heading back to SanFrancisco and said I see A&A service coming out of [redacted] in Verdi NV with three bags of food.

[redacted] got up to Donner rest area and I went over toked with her and got some food and went back to east side and ate the food then called my wife at 1:05pm.

At 1:45PM A&A service finally got there and said there was flash flood and four accidents and had pickup was dry in the bed. He played around and got finish at 2:20 PM.

When I got to Reno I called [redacted] for the cost of the 2 1/2 inch hose and a case of antifreeze. The hose cost $11.80 and $87.70 for antifreeze. A&A said hose was $20.80 and antfreeze was $94.50. A&A had parts $175 + 137.50. 385.80 $94.50. A&A had had parts $175+137.50

We were charged $270 for travel and it takes a big rigg 45 minutes to sparks Nevada and A&A service can drive 65mph and it take 38 min = 1h 18 min.

[redacted] said a little behind A&A service that there was a little rain at 80 + wells area and no acidents. I called Nevada HP they said no accidents and to go online it will show any accident.Desired Settlement: Don't need to pay for A&A lunch broke and extra an parts
