Good afternoon,I have spoken with this resident about her parking issues, she is upset that her car was towed due to her parking in a fire lane. I explained to her that if we have an emergency at night the fire department would not be able to access our community. The resident wanted to be let out...
of her lease because we do not have assigned parking and I told her no she would have to follow the lease agreement and give proper notice and pay the termination fee. The resident has lived here for several months and we have never offered assign parking, she new this when she signed her lease. There is parking here it might not be right in front of her building but we do have parking. The resident called and said she smelled marijuana coming from another unit. The Jacksonville Sherriff Office was called they came to the property and walked the breezeway they did not smell anything coming from anyone door in her building. This resident threaten to turn us over to the Revdex.com because she was a woman and we did not protect her at night, I tried to explain to her that we could not discriminate due to gender that we provide adequate parking for all of our residents. I feel this complaint is unfair due to this resident being upset about her vehicle being towed and believe this should be closed.Thank you,[redacted]Business Manager
