A/A Sealcoating & Striping

Review: On 04/06/15, I called for an estimate and on 05/01/15 I received a proposed a bid to do the seal coating of the driveway on 2231 Aspen Lane. He quoted a price of $111.00 that included the edging, power cleaning, heat treating, patching of cracks. My name was spelled incorrectly and the city was not correct. I did not sign to accept the bid.

On 05/07/15, Mr. [redacted] called and stated that he could complete the job late June.

On 05/17/15, Mr. [redacted] called and stated that he would be coming the next day in the afternoon.

On 05/18/15, Mr. [redacted] came and completed the job. He had stated he would be there in the afternoon but came in the early morning and did not give me any warning so I could get my vehicle out of the garage.

On 06/02/15, I called Mr. [redacted] and informed him that the seal coat did not work and it was bad. When on the phone Mr. [redacted] informed me that he had been in business for years. If he knew that he couldn't fix it, why didn't he say something prior to completing the work.

On 06/04/15, Mr. [redacted] came and left me a note on an envelope that stated: As I said on phone, the cracks in asphalt are sealed. You are seeing cracks in the sealcoat itself. You can't do anything with that. I took pictures just in case you don't want to pay. This will be paid by 6/15 or it will go to small claims and I won't loose and it will cost you another 95.00.Desired Settlement: If he would not have been able to repair the driveway he should have let me know. An apology and a credit for some of the bill would be appreciated.
