A Ace Heating & Appliance Repair

A repairman was at my home on 10-4-12. He quoted me a price of $275 to repair my washing machine. He said it would be $52.75 (incl.tax) for the service call. I gave him a personal check and told him I wanted a written explanation as to the specific problem with the washer. He said this would have to be done at the office.

Today is 10-17 and because the check has been cashed by Ace Appliance Repair, I called and spoke to [redacted], the owner, to inquire about my written request. [redacted] was argumentative and said that is not their policy. He said all I would receive is an invoice from the repairman on 10-4.

I attempted to tell him that, no only did I not receive an invoice, but I was not informed by the repairman that this was not their policy. I also attempted to tell [redacted] that since they apparently knew what the problem with the washer is, why could I not be told this. I don't think it is unreasonable to ask specifically what is wrong.

My check was cashed but I did not receive what I requested and according to [redacted], I will not receive it. I ended the phone call with him by saying I refused to argue with him and I would be contacting the Revdex.com. As he did several times, he tried to talk over me and so, I said again that I was not going to argue. I said "Good-bye" and disconnected the call.
