Review: I posted a surety bond for someone while I was visiting the city of New Orleans. I paid this company the 2500.00 bond plus their fees for posting the bond. I was told that at the end of the case, I would receive my $2500.00 back. The person I posted the bond for met all the requirements and the case was resolved. On April 22, 2015, I personally came to the office and gave TASHA the paper work that was given to me by the court saying the case was over. She told me that she will forward all the information to the insurance coming that day and that I would receive my bond back in a week. She told me to call her on Wednesday if I have not received the check. ( I live 11 hours away from Gretna).I waited to call her, giving the mail time. After two weeks of not receiving the bond money from the insurance company, I called A-Affordable back, as I was previously told to do.After several calls to the company, I was told Tasha was the only person that dealt with the insurance company. I finally talked to TASHA, informing her that I have not received a check, nor have I received a letter or phone call from the company. She continues to tell me that she sent all the documentation to the insurance company. I have asked for the name of the insurance company, since I cannot get a definitive reason why I have not received this check. I was told by Tasha that she could not tell me the name of the insurance company that has my money.Please help!Desired Settlement: I would like my $2500.00 dollars back.
