We worked for this couple on the specified dates, we went out of our way to please them We even planted extra plants on the back yard for them I was paid by check and included a postdated check as part of our agreement The customer signed a letter of satisfied completion The next day from this, I receive a call from her stating that she did not want some of the items as they were installed We made an agreement to change those items to her satisfaction This included adding sod, building yet another flowerbed and moving some river rock around We also redid borders on a different way than first requested We finished within the next two days We were told all was allright We were called to return and fix a broken sprinkler head and we did We never heard anything after that When it came time to cash the check We called a few times to verify funds And deposited the check and it finally cleared We were never notified of any stop payment or any further service needed We went out of our way to help this customer We practically did the work twice I still would adress any issues she or he has, but the agreement was true and the work was done and paid Shouldnt be any confussion about that I dont see it ethical sneaking behind and stopping payment on checks For one thing we were nice to just get our funds, instead of turning the hot check to the district attorney., aparently this customer is un aware of the legal repercussions of not paying for a service

I am rejecting this response because: this is patently falseOnly my front lawn was mowed, the leaves were NOT bagged, and no trimming was doneOnly my backyard was sp***ed with the $weed killer, which was supposed to come with a 2nd FREE visit if weeds came back (they did in droves, my lawn is covered in weeds in the front and back), so you offering to come back a 2nd time is not a "gesture of good faith", it's what I paid forHowever, I don't want to see you or your company ever again after the way I was treatedI just want my money back.Having half my lawn mowed, half my lawn weeded, NOTHING bagged, is not worth $in laborThat's ridiculous and I still expect a refundI now have a legitimate company servicing my lawn and they do more than what you did for $a visitThat's market price; my lot is less than acresPaying $for a half finished job that was not only incomplete but done unprofessionally and then handled by threatening me is a joke.

He didn't do this because knew he cheated usArmando gave us an estimate of $for flowerbeds in a small front yardFor this price we expected a high level of quality and professionalismInstead, we were take advantage ofWe had to cover the expense of the sprinkler repairs and replace the plants he left behind. I placed a 'stop payment' on the last check I gave himStill, he NEVER contacted us. We should have reported him last summer but we just wanted to put the whole negative experience behind usWe accepted our losses, learned from the experience and never wanted to deal with Armando again.We have prove that he changed the date on the check to get passed the 'stop payment.' What kind of professional does this? Alter checks illegally? He was not able to cash the check until months laterHe was counting on us not to renew the 'stop payment' after monthsHe knew exactly what to doHe must have a lot of experience with unhappy customers canceling checksSince we never heard from Armando again, we let our guard down and did not renew the 'stop payment.' months later he takes advantage of us AGAINHe will never admit that he cheated usPeople like him never doHe knows that it will be time consuming and costly to take legal action against himAll that matters to him is that he cheated us and took our money. We decided to at least warn other customers about ArmandoThis is the only satisfaction we will getWe placed our trust and confidence in him and he took advantage of usHe must learn that poor customer service will only cost him in the long run. we serviced the property late, I agree, but we did more thatn enough work to justify our payment.  we mowed, trimmied and bagged leaves.  we fertilized and sp[redacted]ed for weeds.  the price is right.  If needed we can go and re-sp[redacted] as a sign of good faith.  she called and said...

she wants some other work done for free, and I pointed out that is not possible.
