Tell us why heHello, In regards to the attached complaint, I would like to submit a response in order to clarify as to why the customer is responsible for payment and to question why he refuses to pay in full. I have not one
time, received any communication from the customer prior to June, that there was any issues with the pool cleaning services being performed. In fact, it was not until I called to try and collect on non -payment dating back to March, that he even mentioned his pool being anything but perfect. This is not to say that he did not speak with the service tech about the issue and this is why he would have invoices for special chemicals to clear up the pool, however, management was unaware. The billing issues at hand, and services rendered, are dating from March, April, and May. This would be service performed at the customer’s house by our tech per the contract, chemicals used, and late fees. The contract agreement with customers that get their pool serviced by our technicians is on a monthly basis once a week. In the case of many pools, one would absolutely have to be hands on, and ensure proper water balance, add chemicals as needed, and/or communicate to management if they needed the tech out more each week to combat algae growth. This is something that a lot of customers do in the summer months due to heat and rain. After speaking with our technicians, they informed us that this pool/property in question was actually built by the customer and has various issues in itself that would undoubtedly cause algae growth if not taken care of on a daily basis. Bottom line is, we performed service per customer and I’ve sent multiple invoices on a monthly basis, and it wasn’t until I called to try and collect payment, that there were any issues reported to me and refusal to pay. Now, our system did, for some reason, bill the customer for 7/and 8/1, and I have made those adjustments in the system. The balance due to the customer is $707.90. We value each and every customer we have, and go above and beyond in many cases to unsure the customer has a joyful and seamless swimming season. Hundreds of our customer will attest to this. I hope this customer will understand that we are not out to get anything and/or more than only what we are owed for chemicals and services performed.
