On 5/*/14 I went online to make an reservation to stay at the Best Western Gregory Hotel in Brooklyn on 7/**/14-7/**/14. I selected the Best Western Prospect Park Hotel in error. When I realized my mistake 15 minutes later, I called the reservation office and requested to change my reservation to the Best Western Gregory Hotel, they refused stating the terms of my reservation stated that there can be no refunds or exchanges. The customer service office told me the same thing. I called the Best Western Prospect Park Hotel to see if they can switch my reservation to the Best Western Gregory Hotel. They called me a few minutes later and informed me that they could not. 3 years ago I made a reservation to stay at theBest Western Gregory Hotel. When I had a change of plans, I cancelled my reservation 2 days before my arrival and my request was honored. This time my tried to switch my reservation 2 months in advance, 15 minutes after I made the reservation and they would not honor my request. I have patronized Best Western every year since 2010, sometimes twice a year, spending several thousand dollars at their establishments. I believe that this is an extremely unethical practice, especially considering that it was an honest mistake. What if someone accidentally made a reservation with a Best Western Hotel in another state or another country, would this not be able to be corrected.
