Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2015/07/13) */
Our apologies to The *** family for the misunderstanding on the service callAs with most service companies we have to charge to send a technician out as we pay them and we assume customers realize this is a part of doing businessHowever
I do understand your frustration a being billed when the tech said probably no bill would be sent but he should have known we have an hour minimum
Our apologies for the perceived hatefulness from our staff on trying to collect thisOur company is proud of the work we have done in the Springfield area and feel our clients are the most important asset we haveThis is the first bad review I am aware of - do not read *** - and sometimes it takes something like this to check ourselves
A FULL CREDIT to your account has been issuedThank you for your correspondence
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 12, 2015/07/18) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I'm glad they understand my frustrationI hope that they explain the hour minimum to their future customers

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/04/06) */
I will address the incomplete work first as we know of no such issue. That has not been brought up in any verbal communication to Complete Electrical.
Clean up: Technician was going to bring his shop vac in and client stated he is OCD and...

would prefer to do it himself.
Holes? In order to wire a new switch it is common practice to "mark" where the wire needs to go down the wall. The pin hole was plugged.
The work we performed was quoted at $300. The breaker going bad was not due to any of the work performed. Breakers go bad no matter the age of the house/breaker. When the breaker was turned off so that our technician would not be electrocuted and then turned back on the connection failed to connect. We do take exception to being accused of billing for a part we did not supply. I think our reputation locally can speak for that and it is not necessary to make accusations of fraud. Breakers are part of truck stock. That was charged as extra over and above quote. We spoke with this gentleman and agreed to write off the extras we performed and he could pay the $300 quoted price. That did not suit him although we had driven to his house and quoted per his instructions.
[redacted] then asked him what he "wanted" to pay and he could pay that. He did not offer up the prices he states on this complaint.
We are willing to do anything to make this customer happy but are at a loss as what more we can offer. He stated he still wanted to contact the Revdex.com which we understand.
We apologize for the confusion regarding the 2 story issue but [redacted] quoted 3 houses in that all new shells and was asking in order to get clear in his mind who was calling.
We are willing to work with him on the unpaid balance however he was quoted $300 for the original work requested and accepted that quote.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/04/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The technician that came out to do the work did not plug the holes in the ceiling when he was done. I have about 6 of them all together, so the work to me is still incomplete.
I [redacted]'t think the breakers were ever off because the technician kept on getting zapped when he was trying to troublshoot his work by moving different wires around. There was power going to everything and it was 110V because I saw his meter, so I [redacted]'t see how the breaker was bad.
The technician also asked to use my vacuum to clean up and didn't say he had anything to clean up. He had already made me an hour leave for leaving out of town and that is why I told him that I would clean up.
I can take pictures of the holes in my ceiling still to prove that they were not plugged. Also, I have a security system on my house that tracks all movement in and out doors and video.
I believe that a fair settlement would be to pay for all the parts he used, less the breaker, and the 2.25 hours he actually worked, less his troubleshooting time. I will plug the holes myself because I do not want the company back out here, but like I said I can provide pictures for proof and any security tracking.
When I spoke to [redacted] on the phone, he was not very pleasant and was not willing to understand where I was coming from on things, and he said, "I didn't know this was a negotiation." Not very professional.
I feel the price should be 186.48.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2016/04/12) */
186.48 is fine. Thank you
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 11, 2016/04/13) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I accept the response.
