A and B Used Cars believes we have not done anything wrong, as the customer has put approximately 13,miles on the vehicle in months, We have not seen any routine maintenance records since purchaseThe customer called our office about weeks ago and stated that her rack and pinion had went
outI informed her to have the vehicle brought to our office and we would do the repair for a discounted amount of $The ongoing rate for this repair would normally be $She stated that she was aware that her warranty was expired and she wanted to trade it for another carI informed her that once she has paid the vehicle in full with the finance company, we would take it in for tradeShe did not bring us the car for agreed repair for rack and pinion and heard nothing more from her until we received the complaint in the mailWe informed her that if we were not here when she brought the car to us that we have a key drop box for such occurancesWe believe that a reasonable amount of time for the car has ran outThank you for your time*** ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The repairs to the vehicle was not the original complaint. The original complaint was the inspection sticker that A & B Used cars put on the vehicle at the time of purchase. The sticker was put on with bad breaks, bald tires, a busted tail light and a huge hole in the bumper of the vehicle. I had to replace the brakes approximately two weeks after I purchased the vehicle. I also had to replace the tires two weeks after I purchased the vehicle. I returned with the vehicle at least three separate times to have it checked because it was not operating properly. All times I was told that they "didn't know what was wrong."  I had to continuously take the vehicle back home and purchase the parts and fix the vehicle myself. The hole in the bumper itself would not pass inspection. Since I have owned the vehicle I have had to replace; the spark plugs and wires (because they were full of oil when I received the vehicle and it was running improperly) I've had to replace an O-2 sensor in the vehicle (Which they also told me that they didn't know what was wrong.) I've replaced the tires, breaks, Rear Wheel Cylinder because the car was loosing break fluid. I returned the vehicle to them while it was within the warranty several times because of the check engine light being on the car not running properly and each time they stated that they didn't know what was wrong, and they would hook up the machine to the vehicle and clear off the engine light just for it to come back on the next day. The emergency break was non operational when I bought the vehicle and is fully exposed. The car has no center console. Also, the rack n pinion has been bad for quite some time. A week after I purchased the vehicle I noticed that it had a strange pull when turning the wheel. At first I thought it was the power steering pump, then we thought it was a control arm. After the car was completely non drivable we discovered that the rack n pinion was bad. When I originally made the call to A & B Used Cars, they stated that they would come and pick up the vehicle and "make it right with me" there was no mention of any exchange of money at that time. When I called them the following Monday to advise them as to where the car would be, He advised me that I would have to call the tow company and pay to have the vehicle towed to them. He didn't advised that I would have to pay for the repairs during this phone call either. It wasn't until I contacted them again to ask if they were going to charge me that he advised that I would have to pay for the repairs. I believe that them selling me the vehicle in the condition that it was in was alone their fault. I have attached photos of the damage that was done to the bumper when I bought the vehicle. Also a picture of the inspection sticker that they put on the vehicle before I drove it off the lot.
Regards,
