A and D Fence

We hired A&D Fence to install a 6' privacy vinyl fence for backyard, on June 29, 2012. It is now 8/27/2012 and my fence installation is still not complete. I have made repeated attempts by phone & text to get Mr. [redacted], owner, to come out and complete my fence, but have been unsuccessful in doing so. At time of hire, I was told by Mr. [redacted], owner, that they could not start till July 6th and that it would take 2 days, max, to complete. However, I'm still waiting. His crew did come out to install, however, they did not finish the first day. They came back the next day to finish and still did not. Mr. [redacted], owner, came out at the end of the second day to collect additional money and it was at that time my husband and myself informed him of 6 minor concerns he needed to address before installation would be considered complete on our end and balance would be paid. By this time we had paid him well over 85%. He assured us several times that not only would he be out to take care of our concerns, but that he would be out the VERY next day to do so. He never showed or called. This was a pattern he repeated with us too many times to count. Mr. [redacted], owner, only made contact with us, because we were the ones initiating the calling. He finally came back out, weeks later, to take care of 1 of the 6 concerns we had however, that concern is still unresolved. He was to take one of our two gates to get re-holed since it was done incorrectly the first time, he took our gate and has yet to return it. This leaves our backyard completly accessible to anyone who walks by. We still have no permit from the city, no gate, and concrete has never been poured into the post to help secure them in place. These three concerns were the top 3 of the original 6 we had and shared with Mr. [redacted], owner. We have never experienced such a lack of concern, customer service and business ethic from any individual or company.
