A and J's Quality Moving and Storage Reviews (1)
We are both residents of [redacted] at [redacted] Street for the past 6 and a half years. We have recently been relocating to Southern California but still have our house in [redacted].
We have run into a problem with a mover that is based in Allston MA, Boston Quality Movers. They packed and loaded our entire household contents on November 2nd and have been dishonest since about where our entire house contents are, when it might arrive, or who has the information with no end in sight. They have told me repeatedly a day it will arrive and it doesn’t. They don’t answer their phones, and just try to give us the “runaround.”
While I did conduct research prior to selecting a mover, including looking on Angie’s list, Revdex.com, I felt that all movers had issues especially cross country. At this point, it looks like in Allston, there is an extensive history of dishonest, unethical practices with very little regulation [interstate]. Boston Quality movers has a web of multiple company names [A&J, Atom, Michaels, Boston Quality, etc….] and they use this to reconstitute their business when one becomes too problematic to move. They are preying on people who are looking for a fair price, and competent, honest moving services.
I am quite simply looking for help in addressing not just a consumer issue but apparently a broader issue of this industry. I would appreciate your thoughts and assistance in this painful circumstance as we are currently living in an empty house 2,600 miles away from [redacted] with no idea when our house contents will ever arrive.
