A and M Appliance

We made appointment with A and M to replace inner glass of wall oven and to clean inner glass of wall oven. Tech arrived 2 hours late to service appointment without notification to us. When tech arrived we had a 15 minute window for the work to be done because we had to leave the house for child's activity. The 15 minutes the tech was here did not allow us time to clean oven windows of baked on food spills. The result was that we had to leave the house without adequate time to clean the oven glass. The tech put the oven door back together with the food stains still there. We called A and M to ask them to come out again, open the oven door so we could clean the glass, and set an appointment that would give us adequate time to clean the glass thoroughly. We explained that the tech had arrived over 2 hours late for the first appointment, which rushed us to the extent that we were unable to clean the interior glass adequately the first time. We also proposed that there should be no charge to us for the follow-up appointment, as their late arrival was the cause of the problem. The owner refused to send a tech to remedy the problem unless we paid an additional fee. When we attempted to explain to the owner our reasons for the complaint, including the lateness of the tech's arrival, and how it forced us to rush the cleaning of the oven glass, as well as our rationale for not wishing to pay additional charges, he became rude and argumentative. He refused to listen to the timeline of the original appointment date, and how it put us at a disadvantage for completing the task of cleaning the oven glass. He interrupted our explanation repeatedly and was not interested in hearing why the service appointment was a failure from our perspective.
