Review: I visited Dr. [redacted] for a minor procedure, and was dismayed at their repeated attempts to upsell services that I did not need. I told the staff members that I was not financially able to pay for extras such as deep cleanings, x-rays and some sort of wax tooth moulding for cosmetic procedures (none of which were related to the visit nor the minor chipped tooth I was there to fix). They assured me that these services would be free to me, and they proceeded to take a wax mould of my front teeth so that "I could see how nice a set of dentures would look." I realized that this was an attempt to upsell, but I was reassured that this was complementary. Now several months later (and many annoying sales calls later - attempting to get me to come in for cleanings and whatnot), I receive a threatening bill stating that I now owe them money for those services that I was assured were free. In red ink, scrawled on the bottom of this "bill" reads: "Hi XXXX - I am sorry you are not wanting to be a patient here in our practice. We did the X-rays & exam complementary, but only do the diagnostic wax-ups for patients free if they return for a cleaning or treatment. Please pay the cost of wax-up by the end of march. Thank you." ...this is wholly fraudulent!Desired Settlement: I would like this bill to be cancelled, and I would also like the Revdex.com and the general public to know about their fraudulent and threatening behavior!
