*** *** ordered carpet from *** J*** @ Abbey Carpet of Tacoma on February 3rd The carpet was for a room that is 11'8" in width and 14'4" in length When the carpet arrived, we arranged for an installation dateWe removed the existing carpet and cushion and installed the new
carpet over our best cushion We used the same "clamp down" metal transition between the carpet and the sheet vinyl flooring *** inspected the job, said it was fine, and Ivan, the installer, said "thank you"
On March 1st I received a call from *** and she said she was told by someone working in her house that something was wrong with the carpet She said something was wrong with the way the carpet was attached to the "clamp down" metal and it needed to be fixed I scheduled Ivan to return the following day after he finished his scheduled job He tapped down a corner of the "clamp down metal" she requested and said the installation and transition was done properly She continued to insist that something was wrong and she wanted it fixed Ivan said the job was "perfect" and he had no idea what to do for her He called me and asked what should he do and I asked him to let me speak to *** When she took the phone, she was so mad that she was hyperventilating I told her to calm down and explain the problem "Ivan wouldn't do what she wanted and he doesn't know what he is doing" I couldn't reason with her so I asked *** to give the phone back to IvanI told Ivan to leave the home immediately On his way out, *** told Ivan "to go back to country he came from" Ivan is a ** *** *** *** *** *** as a *** *** Ivan has been with me for years now and all I hear from customer is "what great work he does and would like he back when they need more work done"
I called *** back a few days ago and said I would like to visit her home and see what was incorrect done She told me I "would not be allowed" to enter her home again "Send someone who know what he's doing or I'll hire someone else to fix the problem" and that person will send me a bill for his services
I have been the owner of Abbey Carpet of Tacoma for years We have sold and installed $83,000,of flooring locally If she allows me to send another flooring mechanic, I will Respectfully, *** J***

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
Mr. [redacted], owner of Abbey Carpet, is dishonest and lacks basic business ethics and integrity. He has failed to resolve documented installation complaint and the Revdex.com's records must reflect same.Sincerely,[redacted]
