A B C Daycare & Learning Center

This daycare treated my baby awful and I witnessed other children receiving same care.
My Child started there June 19, 2012 and from first day I was uncomfortable with a couple of situations and I just thought that it might be me being a new mom, so I figured that I would let time play it out. Each day that I picked my baby up he was always in a different outfit than what he came and it was always because of a "blow out." So I had kindly asked if they would start changing him more often because he never had those unless he was there. That barely happened with the changing. I always picked him up in the afternoon and he was always wet or dirty and always crying, (which he never cries.) Fast forward to Friday July 6th, my friend who's daughter also went there had asked to pick up my son since I had to work. I had called that day earlier to first ask them to put saline drops in my babies nose before he ate his bottle (2 more times that day), the Director (NAME) said that she definitely would. When I called back that afternoon to tell them my friend would pick him up, (NAME) proceeded to tell me that she did not give him the saline drops she thought that he did not need them even though I specifically called to tell her to do so. So my friend goes to pick him up and (NAME) (afternoon teacher) was in the room with the babies crying, as usual in the afternoons. She seemed flustered and irritated and proceeded to raise her voice and say "I can't take all of you babies crying at once!" My friend had said "why don't you go ask for help?" (NAME) said that she was fine and did not need any and then went to a crying baby in a swing, banged hard and loud on the swing play tray and said "I guess I will pick you up since you wont be quiet." She then yanked the crying baby out of the swing without lifting the tray and scraped the baby's thighs on tray causing the baby to cry more. My friend went to my baby to get him ready to go fast so that they could leave. She asked where his car seat would be and (NAME) snapped, "over by his crib, the one with his name on it!" My friend got my son, who was in his SIXTH outfit that day and put him in his seat. As my friend was leaving (NAME) said that he blew out in all of his diapers and then told her to wait and not forget his bottle and handed her a bottle. This bottle had a little bit of juice in it. My baby does not drink juice and my friend pointed that out and (NAME) just said that it was in his spot so it was his. My baby got juice all day which could have been harmful to him. I also found out from another parent in the room that they call my baby the "juice man" because he loves his juice. They are also failing to tell other parents we left and just telling them that my friend and I's kids are on vacation and that is why they are not there. Reality is that we left. They will put the babies from the nursery into the older kids rooms when they have just one or two to save on teachers. The front office, (NAME) and (NAME), could care less about what goes on in the nursery because they have a window in their office that looks into nursery. Every time I have gone in and babies are screaming, you never see either or in nursery helping when there is just one teacher. They made my friend and I feel very incompetent when talking to us on these issues. (NAME) even said that (NAME)'s last day would be 7/6 and she is still there to this day on 7/31. I have also witnessed teachers yank toddlers and preschoolers by arms to get them to listen or to punish, them sending home the wrong bottles to a baby more than once, and have talked to SEVERAL other parents and all have experienced these issues. These teachers and and Directors need to be looked into!
