Hello Ms [redacted] ,I am rejecting Exquisite Styles refusal to honor their gift card or issue a refund because I believe it to be unethical and against federal law for a gift card to expire prior to five years from the date it was issuedSince filing this claim Exquisite Styles has determined me to be a “liability” and unable to receive massage services at their salonBecause of this I feel the only way to resolve this matter at this time is for Exquisite Styles to mail me a refund check in the exact amount we paid for the gift card.I would be willing to remove my online reviews regarding their refusal to honor my gift card if they issue a refundOtherwise, I see nothing wrong with stating the truth within an online review of their businessThey are tarnishing their own reputation with their practice of selling gift cards and then refusing to accept gift cards as payment. The only sticker on the back of my gift card states “3/1/13, No: 1128, 1/Deep Tissue Massage, Authby MB.” [redacted]

have talked with someone at the salon on May 1st 2014 which was a Thursday and the salon is closed on Thursday. The next date of alleged contact was on Monday June 15th 2015.The salon has no record of that call. The last and only call of record is on Tuesday February 13th 2018. At the time of that phone call the gift card was 4 years expired according to salon policy. The gift card has a sticker attached on the back that states the cards expire one year from purchase date. However, gift cards are accepted up to 6 months later as a courtesy to our guests. The gift card value can be applied to any services or products that the salon offers. The aforementioned gift card should have been dealt with the year it was to expire. The deep tissue massage would not be advisable due to the information disclosed regarding the injury and surgeries sustained. It would be a liability for the massage therapist and the salon. The claimant and her relatives have already gone to social media to try to tarnish the reputation of the salon using the misinformation given to the Revdex.com. A refund will not be issued.Sincerely,Melissa *. S[redacted] (owner)
