Mr [redacted] purchased a 200 amp circuit breaker which we opened up brand new out of the box right in front of him. I believe the day after he called up and put his electrician on the phone and right away he accused us of selling Mr [redacted] a used or not certified circuit breaker. We explained that...
we do not sell neither used nor non certified circuit breakers as this is 1.unethical, 2. a liability issue, 3. we would lose the line with the manufacturer and be liable for fines by them as we sign a contract with them. The contractor went on to say he is going to report us. Mr [redacted] came in and we showed him on the box that it came in was the label from the manufacturer along with the date code matching the date code stamped on the circuit breaker by the manufacturer. At that point he got very belligerent and did not want to understand we were being completely honest with him. The breakers looked just like every other breaker from this manufacturer and in over 55 years with this manufacturer we have never had this problem. As far as me cursing at him he is 100% lying and as a matter of fact when he left a customer that was here for the entire incident said I'm glad I don't have your job as you stood there taking his abuse and never retaliated. Again we DO NOT AND NEVER HAVE SOLD NEITHER USED NOR FAKE PRODUCTS and that is one of the reasons we have been in business for such a long period. I completely baffled by Mr [redacted] complaint and to lie and say I cursed at him after showing him that the breaker was brand new is completely beyond belief.
