On 2/19/16, ***, your Project Manager came over to my residence at approximately AM for a project that is being done on our outside patioI was home alone and about to jump in the shower when your crew arrivedI let your crew into my residence and they were walking through the house to the patio, I was walking upstairs to take a shower and your Project Manager, [redacted] made a comment that he needed to take a showerI wasn’t upset about this comment, and brushed it off because I thought he was jokingSo I continued on upstairsI took my shower, and as I had just stepped out of the shower I heard a tapping noise coming from the hallway area upstairs near my bedroomI thought that was strange so I quickly grabbed my robe, opened the bedroom door, and saw [redacted] open the bedroom door into my kids’ bedroom, and I saw him looking around into the bathroomI then said “hello” through the crack in my bedroom door, and he said “Oh I was looking for you to tell you that I am leaving, and the guys will be here to work on the patio.” I felt shocked, and violated! I thought it was very strange that [redacted] came upstairs to tell me thisI then quickly told him ok and I shut the doorI never could of expected or thought that any of your employees would wander throughout a customer’s home, knowing damn well that I was going to take a shower, and walk upstairs to our bedrooms, which is a private area of your customer’s homeYou would think you’re your employees would know where the boundaries of privacy and safety are, and focus their concentration and work where the attention needs to beAnd it is not in our bedroom! I feel very uncomfortable now in my own home when your employees are here workingAs a customer of ABM, I had expected that your company’s employees to have the common sense and/or sexual harassment training/safety training to know the areas of privacy within the customer’s homeI am unaware of the training that you provide your employees regarding privacy/safety rules and regulations, and feel not only violated, but utterly disgusted with the behavior of your employeeI am extremely disappointed with your companyIf the patio construction was completed to my liking and satisfaction, I was planning on using your company for additional work on my condoNow I will search for a different company to complete my other restoration/remodeling projectsIn addition to this, my fiancé had mentioned to me that on a prior day when your employees were here, he had let one of your employees use his flashlight (it was a $200.00, LED lumen Streamlight Stinger with Matco etched on the side, black) and now the flashlight is missingMy fiancé and me will allow ABM to complete the patio construction, and be inside my home “only if my fiancé is here.” If my fiancé is not here and I do not answer the front door, I request that your employees gain their own access to the patio to complete the work

In regards to the claim done against me sorry for the delay.The dispute was due to a misunderstanding on Mrs [redacted] She claims I harassed herin her homei apparently overstepped my professional boundaries in her perceptionfrom my perspectiveI was merely saying good by and wanted to know if she needed anything before I leftI regret deeply theloss connection however I never meant to make her feel uncomfortable in any waythis is the first timeI have come across a situation like this and it was a valuable lesson to me as a professional as to how things can get misinterpreted very quickly.I took myself off the job site after she stated she did not want me in her homewhich I understand and it was the most logical thing to doI did get someone else to go and finish the job after a lot of mis communication due to the nature of the event.I send my deepest apologies to her and her husband for any inconvenience and suffering this perceived event caused themI do however stand by my perception I am usually very cordial and friendly with all my clients and this is the first time someone has taken who I am as an attack.I have not responded before for the mier fact that in my conscious this was a misunderstand and I really did not have anything more to addi did apologize to hertheres nothing more I can say[redacted] A B M Construction [redacted]
