The past three months have resulted in overbilling for water/sewer usage at [redacted] where we'd purchased a double-wide mid-December 0f 2012. We were billed for 20,000 gal. of usage for January, 30,000 gal. for February and March is apparently in excess of 20,000 with ten days left in the month. We've been checked by plumbers three times and there is no leakage and there's nothing wrong with our meter. When we go online with ABT to check our usage records, it showed usage for February at just over 5,000 gal, however we were billed in excess of 30,000. Even when the management company for [redacted] calls, or the plumber calls or we call to resolve the issue NO ONE in management will return our call. A request has been made for the company to appear on-site and evaluate their equipment for malfunction. We called three times in February when we received January's billing and NO response upon registering our initial complaint. We have called March 24, 25, 26 and upon establishing the complaint with "[redacted]" who appears to be the receptionist for the company...NO ONE returns a call for resolution.
We paid January's bill of over $122 as we did not want to destroy our credit while we await resolution to this situation. However, we WILL NOT pay this last billing of $164 until ABT checks their on-site equipment . There's obviously an issue with the signal they're receiving through their lines that's in great error. We are TWO people in our 60's who DO NOT use 1,000 gal. per day!
