Regards,

I have been twice The first time with a Groupon and today as a return customer I was treated professionally on both ocassions Their massage therapists are amazing I get massages frequently and by far *** has given me the best massage ever! I will be returning and recommending to both friends and colleagues

I believe this issue was resolved with Mrs. [redacted] in September.
I have numerous emails to corroborate this.

I have been incredibly pleasantly surprised with the service at A Balanced Life Massage LLC. The therapists are extremely professional and considerate of the individual's needs. I will continue to get my massages here!

Review: A Balanced Life Massage has not provided a response and for this reason, I am contacting the Revdex.com. On September 12th, I realized that my credit card had been charged $80 (2 payments of $40 on 8/28 and also 9/3). I had terminated my membership with them in writing in April. I had reminded them of the termination via email on 7/4. On September 12th, I called A Balanced Life Massage and spoke with [redacted], Office Manager. She looked at the account and then stated that [redacted], the owner, was next to her and she would put me on hold to ask him. [redacted] explained that they could not find any of the emails that I referenced and asked if I could forward the emails to them so that they could review them and provide a response. I did exactly as they requested and sent a series of 6 emails all documenting the issue. I received an email at 3:18pm stating that they could not do anything except charge me a $300 termination fee. I was concerned because my credit card should not have been charged without my permission on 8/28 and 9/3. It should have been removed from their files completely when I ceased to be their client in April. Additionally, the information that they provided did not resolve the issue at all. It also did not address any of the documentation that I had provided regarding my account being suspended by the former manager, [redacted], and then terminated in April. I emailed [redacted] again explaining the situation and that I wanted to the response to be reviewed because it did not address any of the concerns. She replied on 9/12 at 4:28pm that she would speak with [redacted] again. I did not receive any additional information so on 9/17, I sent a follow up email; no response. I waited until today, 9/21, to give the company the benefit of the doubt. Having received no response, I am filing a complaint. Overall, I am extremely frustrated with this business because it appears that they do not have solid documentation, are potentially committing fraud by making unauthorized charges to credit cards and lack the policy and procedure to adequately respond to needs and complaints.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the following:

1. A refund in the amount of $80 for the charges that were inappropriately made to my credit card.

2. A review of my account and return of any services owed (any credits).

3. A statement in writing from the business confirming that our relationship terminated in April 2015 and that my credit card has been entirely removed from their system.

I had a groupon for Swedish deep tissue.. To be honest I am leaving w muscles way more sore than I came in with, I don't feel the massage therapist knew what he was doing, he was nice but seemed inexperienced and I unfortunately was very disappointed

Review: There are 6 key issues:

1) Balanced Life massage is advertising on groupon, for Wilmington. They are actually "temporarily" located in Bear DE. That is NOT the same as Wilmington and a 20 min drive from Wilmington.

2) The website says they will be in Bear temporarily until Mother's day. It is 5/14 today, which is after Mother's day, and we made an appointment for 5/15 with the assumption that it would be in Wilmington, NOT Bear DE. The day before the appointment, 5/14, we received an email saying the service would be in Bear. NOT Wilmington.

3) Although we could book an appointment through the app / website, it is impossible to cancel on the app/website, no matter which browser or method you use. The button to cancel simply doesn't exist, even though it is referenced multiple times.

4) we resorted to calling, since we aren't going to Bear. Unfortunately, that is also a dead-end. There are two number listed, one on the groupon site (302-543-4004) and their website (302-298-0981) both forward to a "full mailbox" and the message references a 3rd number, 610-986-2781. They aren't accepting messages. The confirmation voicemail came from a number 302-897-9585. This number was forwarded to yet another number, and first rang with no answer or no voicemail. Upon calling again, the call was answered by someone who was clearly confused, wasted, or asleep. Even after talking to this person, it is unclear if the reservation was cancelled.

5) In order to secure a reservation, we had to provide a credit card. There is no way to know if we will be charged, until we are charged.

6) Groupon is STILL accepting new groupons for this place... listed in Wilmington.Desired Settlement: I'd like an email or call explaining the above 6 issues, and provide a refund of the original groupon.
