There were many issues with the service/product [redacted] provided for my fiancee's and my pool. He sold us on the need for a salt water filtering systems and a second line and said it would provide a much better filtering system for the pool. It was a used system that was purchased for $600 and was said, by mister [redacted], to be under warranty. No warranty was ever provided. He stated one could be obtained off line. The system was plagued with problems from the beginning. The sub contractor who dug the new line apparently damaged the sprinkler system and appears to have created a leak in the pool. What was a yard complete with healthy grass now has huge dead spots due to this work which has caused underground flooding. Then the salt filtering system didn't work properly. After trying to contact Mr. [redacted] numerous times he came out, acknowledged it was not working and replaced an electrical system. It still wasn't working properly and we wanted it replace so [redacted] said we could use the warranty but if the company ask me when and who purchased it to tell them we did two years ago. This was an absolutele lie because he obtained the product used and sold it to us used. I told him I would not lie and he needed to contact the company and get us a new one through the warranty. He came out and replace the system with yet another used one. When I asked him about it he said "why would I replace it with a new one if I provided you with an old one". I told him that was unacceptable and he said he was done with us.
I am accusing mister [redacted] of 1.misleading information on what service and product he was providing us. 2. Not being accountable for damage his sub contractor caused, 3. Very poor response and customer service. 4. lying and having malintent of the availability of the warranty of the product. 5. Conspiracy to fraudulently influence the company to provide a new piece of equipment when the warranty was most likely voided.
