Dear Mr. [redacted],

You sold me replacement windows and installed them in my building at [redacted] St. in [redacted] ME. The windows have failed. The plastic swiggle seal strip that seals the outer and inner pains of glass has failed on many of my window sashes.

I called your representative in the Bath/Brunswick area last spring about this failure. She met me at the property and confirmed that the windows had indeed failed, that they were still under your guarantee period. She copied down the pertinent information from many of the windows that have failed and promised to replace them under your guarantee. She also promised to contact my manager and obtain access to the one remaining apartment that we had not been able to get into and replace any failed windows in that apartment, too.

I have not heard from your Bath/Brunswick representative since we met at the property last spring. Nor have I heard from any one else in your organization about the promised replacement of the failed windows.

Please write me to let me know that you have received this letter and to let me know what I should do to get my failed windows replaced as soon as possible.

Dear Mr. [redacted],

Your representative replaced some of my defective windows several months ago. He made note of many other windows that have failed and said that he would be back in a month to replace the other defective windows.

I have not had any contact with you since that day. When will you replace the rest of the bad windows that you sold to me?

I have not heard from your Bath/Brunswick representative since we met at my property last spring. Nor have I heard from you or any one else in your organization about the promised replacement of the failed windows.

I constantly see your advertisements that say “Just ask a friend”. With the after sale service I have received what do you think you can expect me to give as a report if any one of my fellow apartment or home owners should ask?

Your prompt resolution of this matter is expected.

Dear Revdex.com,

Some years ago I bought windows for my building at [redacted] St. [redacted], ME. From A-B.E.S.T. Window that are guaranteed for twenty years. The windows failed and I have been in contact with A-B.E.S.T. many times over several years, including two certified letters copies enclosed for your information and records.

After the first certified letter A-B.E.S.T. replaced some of my failed windows. Since that time they have not communicated with me in any manner and have not returned to replace the rest of my failed windows which should have been done over two years ago.

I want you to know that one of your Maine Businesses is not living up to their advertising and promises. Is there any thing that you can do to help me receive what I was promised by this company?

At the very least please inform any one who may inquire about A-B.E.S.T. Window of South Portland that they do not deliver on either product or service.
