A Better Backyard Reviews (2)
I contacted [redacted] at A Better Backyards to build a shed after seeing an ad. We corresponded and worked out what he was building. By his written presentation a standard shed included a household type door with a key lock (specified at 36 inchs) and a ridge vent with matching wall vent. I paid for several upgrades including tar paper under the shingles. I got 48 inch doors which were swinging doors with a hasp, no wall vents, and did not get the tar paper on the roof. I have also never received the permit I paid for that he said would be mailed to me. I have contacted [redacted] several times in the last couple of months to resolve. In the meantime the the shed is listing to one side..its is supported on only (2) 4x4 runners. When I noticed this after it was built [redacted] indicated this was standard and if it was a problem he would take care of it. If it sinks any more I wont be able to open the door as the shed is adjacent to the deck.
