Came home from work to find a broken spring on our garage door. Not only was ABC the best price but they had the best warranty and showed up an hour after calling. After meeting Scott and seeing his quality and knowledge of the business he is the only one we will use in the future for new doors and/or repairs. Highly recommended!

I called A Better Choice Overhead Door early in the afternoon, explained my garage door problems with Scott, the owner, and he confirmed his fee, to which I agreed to pay. Scott arrived on time; provided excellent work on my door; did a few extras for free that most repairmen would have charged extra; complimented me on how sturdy the original steel door was (which he said had a long life ahead - several months earlier, another repairman told me that the door had to be replaced); finished the job in just over an hour; AND always had a positive disposition about his work. Should I ever have garage door problems again, I will definitely call Scott to do the work for me!

A spring and cable both snapped on my garage door on Saturday and Scott came out early Sunday afternoon to quickly repair my garage door. While others would have charged a premium tech fee for coming out on an off day, Scott worked with us and was extremely reasonable.

I can't say enough about how impressed I was. The door spring snapped round 5pm on Friday night. I called their number and reached Scott as he was driving home around 530. He came over and had all of the necessary repairs completed by 7. He was personable and explained everything thoroughly.

We've called Scott to address problems that we had with our garage door opener. Scott came out quickly, reviewed the situation, and fixed the problem within 20 minutes. He went beyond just repairing the problem that we called on, but also tightened all of the hardware, readjusted the closing and opening tensions, and provided me with an overview of what he was doing so that I could handle the adjustments in the future. From initial telephone contact through completion of job, the service was above average, timely and fairly priced. He suggested the garage opener for me to purchase that he would install. He arrived on time, installed the opener and also performed general maintenance on the garage door. He also suggested some minor cable repair work and charged a minimal amount for this service.

He lubricated all moving parts, tightened screws, adjusted door bracing and made sure the door opener settings were properly set. When the job was done my garage door was operating quieter and smoother than it ever has!
