A Better Heating & Cooling

Ryan installed an A/C unit at my home in May. Had to have him return for a couple things he did incorrectly with that installation causing water leaking in my basement and tubing from the unit outside put in the wrong place. Took me 2 weeks of constantly texting and calling and he finally came to "fix" those issues. Then, less than a month after having the unit installed, it stopped working and was freezing up. Have been trying to get him to come fix that issue for over a week and get nothing but excuses, him saying he will show and then doesn't, and now no responses at all. I have also repeatedly asked for the certification it was supposed to come with and either don't get a response or he tries to bill me an additional $100 for it, which I have refused. He is unprofessional and has bad reviews everywhere. Do NOT use this company for any reason!

Ryan does not do what he says he will do under the "I'm really busy" mantra. He was hired to do a relatively large home remodel job with an all new system. When most of the work was done and he had been 95% paid out he started to be more unresponsive. His other online reviews reflect this same pattern of behavior as well.
He was no call/no show the day before inspections with an incomplete system. He assured me the day before on the phone that he would be there to complete what little work was left to get the system passed. I gave him well over a week do what was left so I didn't drop this on him last minute. It was always "I'm too busy, I'm too busy" until the last minute, then he didn't show up at all and didn't answer any of my numerous phone calls. Funny how after I paid him over $10k he's all of a sudden too busy. In the end the work had to be completed by another HVAC company.
I have since left him a bad online review. His reaction to the review was to steal my a/c unit. I paid for the unit myself at the beginning of the job, he picked it up and was going to deliver it towards the end of the job. As previously stated, he skimped out at the end of the job. He never dropped off the a/c unit. He admitted to having the unit and that I wouldn't get it back unless I brought him to court. Exceptionally unprofessional.
Do not use!!

What a nightmare this company is... Ryan *** "was" a friend of mine and my sons but after using him for some HVAC projects, I can't trust him. I had him install a new furnace in my home in which it isn't working today as of this review. It took him 3 months to get him to install a gas line (leaked after). Installed a new heater and A/C unit in my sunroom only to find it doesn't heat as promised. Made HUNDREDS of calls and texts to him BEGGING him to fix and got excuse, after excuse, after excuse. He finally replaced the unit (charging me another $2000) after missing appointment after appointment. I paid him to fix my humidifier at the end of last winter only to turn it on at the beginning of this winter to find that it doesn't work. After no fewer then 50 calls and texts and missed appointment after appointment, it is still broke as is my new furnace he installed. If you use this company after reading this review, you are as sorry as this company...
