A Better Locksmith

I called to have lock on door to storage room opened. I was told it would be $69 for that service and if I wanted keys made it would be $16 plus $2..for each blank used. That was fine but when I told service tech I wanted a key made he said it would be another $49 service charge plus fee for keys. I told him that was not what I was quoted on the phone by their office. He said that's what it is. I refused to pay that exhorbadant fee.I did pay the $69 fee for opening door and he left. I called [redacted] who recomended Acme and talked to [redacted] who said that I must have missunderstood. No, I did not missunderstand. I THINK because I am a senior they were trying to rip me off. I called [redacted]the owner of Acme Locksmith, and got same basic story. He said I MUST have missunderstood and his serviceman would not do or say that there is another service charge. The only thing [redacted] offered was to make a key at no charge if I brought lock to his shop in Mesa. That would be about 40 miles each way..Then he said he would make two keys. Real generous isn't he. My gas and time are worth MUCH MORE than what he offered.They should be put out of business.
