I rented a home for 6 days which was dirty upon our arrival and I spent the first day of our vacation cleaning. The rental agent agreed to return a portion of the cleaning fee but has also not returned my $300 deposit or any portion of the cleaning feet. The home was left in better condition than when we arrived.
