Dear Madam/Sir:My name is [redacted], I am the operator /manager of the [redacted]. We cash payroll checks for our regular customer. On June 15, 2011 our establishment had cashed a payroll check for the A Bonamase Contracting Co based out of Boardman, OH. As manager my duty is to verify the check. As per our routine procedure to verify the check, I made phone call to the company and spoke with [redacted] CEO of the company. At that time company was in transitioning of financial institution and had requested us to hold the deposit. They promised to mail us the original check amount plus the inconvenience fee of additional $50. To prevent the loss by depositing the check, I trusted the CEO. Since then til today I have made a numerous phone calls to [redacted] personally requesting him to pay us as they promised, but he has not shown any positive interest always comes up with unique excuses. My Boss, had deducted the check amount out of my pay since it was my decision. I am very frustrated and cannot afford third party collector, I would deeply appreciate your offices assistance in recovering my loss.
