On July 25th 2015, we sold a used Farm truck and bale bed with miles to the filer of this
complaint
At the time of sale, both ourselves and the customer knew of an issue with the air conditioning system on the truckWe agreed to charge the a/c system with freon, and deeply discounted our final sale price because of the known a/c problem
The used truck was sold and delivered with no expressed or implied warranties
On July 27th the truck stalled at the customer's location in ArkansasThe truck was towed back to our dealership, where it was determined that the fuel pump had failedI personally visited with the customer and offered to pay half of the necessary repairs OR refund his truck purchase money in full (take back the truck)
The customer chose to keep the truck and a bill for $(replace fuel pump, fuel filter, tow charge) was split half paid by both parties
In his complaint, the customer states that his mechanic told him that the fuel pump replacement should've been around $We'd like to learn how to reach his mechanic, because if this is his quote to install a Ford fuel pump with months and miles warranty on parts and labor we'd like to take him all of our fuel pump business
The truck was repaired and delivered
On September 3rd, the truck was brought back to our shop to once again check the air conditioning systemThe customer was upset with the diagnosis and amount of the repair required to stop the freon leak
As listed above, this issue was dealt with at the time of sale, prices discounted, no expressed or implied warranties, etc
In this case, we did exactly what we promised and then a little bit more in assisting with the fuel pump problem and then a little bit more in offering to buy the truck back
Copies of the original sales agreement and every repair order on this truck are available if needed to substantiate this response
Extended warranties are available for exactly this situationWe offer extended warranty at the time of sale on every eligible vehicle that we offer for sale
New trucks and bale beds are also available with complete bumper to bumper warranty at approximately times the price the customer paid
Perhaps this is an option the customer would like to explore
It is highly probable that this used farm truck and hay bed purchased by the customer will require maintenance and repairs as he continues to drive it in the future
We question who will be to blame for future wear and tear
We sell, service, and repair hundreds, if not thousands of new and used vehicles every year, and our reputation for customer satisfaction is impeccable
After decades of business in both Missouri and Kansas, this is our first claim filed with the Revdex.com

I read Darrin *** response to complaint and I don't agree that statement truck was not discountedI made Joe and offer if he would fix a/c that was the dealWhen I visited with Darrin that was the first time I ever seen himWhen he offer to buy truck back he had already sold my old truckWhen I don't know how because me or my wife did not sign titlethe title was not signed by usAnd his Ford fuel pump with month and 12,warranty our parts house here in Arkansas are life time warrantyHe is speaking of future maintenance and repairs I am not complainting about future repairs you have that on new ones toAnd I looked at his new ones and their not times the pricethe one I looked at was 51,I made this deal with Joe I think he is pretty honestI wish I could say the same for Darrin
