I hired the guys ( Dennis) to repair leak in fireplace.
I've got cheated: charged me $45 to give estimate , later I found his business card says Free estimate.
He was not honest to tell me from the beginning that the treatment may not work. He told me after I payed 140 for seal spray, that He might need to come back and I should be charged again.
I demand my money back . He should have his license revoked(if He has one).
This woman is a LOON. I did not DILUTE anything. Free estimates are by phone which I did give her. I told her before I came out that there would be a $45 service call charge. ( The lowest in the business) I treated her chimney with 2 gallons of waterproofing, explained to her that most of the time ONE coat is all that is needed but sometimes 2 is required. I also filled cracks in the chimney and the job took well over 2 hours. When she called back to say the chimney was still leaking, I told her I would return to apply a second coat. She bombarded me with call after call asking when I was coming back (in a 3 day period) I answered one call and told her that I would be there when it wasn't raining and I was in Greenville. THE NEXT day she left a message on my inbox saying she wanted her $45 back that I was dishonest about Free estimates ETC. Of course I would have to charge again to put a second coat on. The waterproofing costs $26 a gallon. I told her that as well and that it wouldn't be as much as the first coat. I talked to this woman for over an hour in person and explained everything. I run an honest business and am the most recommended Sweep on the Neighborhood App. I even sealed her attic fan on the roof for free and the crown of the chimney as well. I don't know what she wants but she can find someone else to do it. Filing this complaint just sealed that I won't be back.
I don't accept his response because He: Dennis was dishonest and mislead me into a false impression that he will repair the chimney., 2. He charged me for coming to estimate (and I got a business card from him later stating free estimate.), 3. He told me only after applying first sealing solution that this might not work and he should come back to repeat the operation for more money.4. After I called to inform him that I still got leak in my fireplace he didn't answer the phone., that's why he said that I repeatedly called and called me,, luni.''?
I am a women, retired and I would like to be treated fairly and not to be taken advantage by this so called ,, business people".
This woman doesn't even know what a free estimate is. Because she has been taken advantage of before, she asumes everyone does. Sad really but I in no way took advantage of her. Water sealing, like painting sometimes takes 2 coats. I never got the opportunity to do that because of her neurotic behavior. She lied when she said I diluted the product and used only one gallon instead of two, therefore I have no more concern in helping her. I honestly can't see how she gets anything done. Some people can't be pleased no matter what. If she checked my ratings, reviews and Neighborhood App records she would find nothing but praise. It would be totally out of character for me to cheat her but no one else.

How can You trust this business when has no license.( I checked sc license)On his business card has free estimate...but he charge estimate.
