Travis and his team did an excellent job of painting our kitchen cabinets white, to update from a circa 1991 old natural oak finish. A prompt quote was provided in our first meeting, and although fully booked, Travis adjusted so they could meet our schedule when inclement weather impacted their outside jobs. A visit from a[redacted] professional colour consultant was included in the quote, which we highly valued. The team came in and removed our cabinet doors, and prepped and sprayed our cabinet frames over a 4 day period before we moved into this house. They were reliable, and arrived and completed the work when promised, even completing and reinstalling the cabinet and drawer fronts (which they sprayed off-site in their paint booth) ahead of schedule. We found the workers cooperative, respectful, and easy to have working in our home.
Travis, from "A Burst of Colour", painted my open concept home's first floor ceiling (bungalow) last January (2015). The ceilings, at the highest point, are 22 feet high. He draped everything that needed to be draped then spray painted the entire area. The job required to use scaffolding. He did a very good job at painting the ceiling. It was, for me, a daunting job. Not for him. Everything was done professionally, within the time limit he mentioned at the quote. None of my walls were damaged by bumping something against them, like the scaffolding. He cleaned everything during and after the job, leaving no mess at all. He was/is a very pleasant person to talk to, very polite and respectful. He went beyond the duty of call, fixing the noise my ceiling fan was making, and removing some light fixtures I wanted to be changed. His employee was, just like Travis, polite, pleasant to talk to, and professional. Both of them always had a smile on. They arrived on time and finished each daily task on schedule. His price/quote was fair and reasonable. Not extremely pricey as we often see in Calgary. And he stuck to the price he quoted. No surprise "extra cost" at payment time. He put everything back the way it was before, once the job was completed.
Overall, I really, really liked everything about this wonderful young painter and his team.
