A C Armor

I purchased an AC Armor Guard, LLC version 1 approximately a year and a half ago. Today it is impossible to remove.
I purchased an Armor Guard version 1 cage about a year and a half ago. I never needed to remove it until I needed a recent air conditioner repair. The first issue was that they screws had moved underground since the install. I did not realize this and had to cancel an air conditioner repair on May 2 after the guy had already come out. After making several calls to the company, they agreed to send someone out to put markings near the screws and take pictures if possible so I would know how to take the cage off. I initially had tried to take off the top screws, but was told they were near the ground. Although a technician was sent and dug up dirt to find the screws and loosened, the cage was never fully removed on May 6. Thus, when I attempted to remove it again on May 9, it remained stuck. I had another air conditioner repair appointment that day and was extremely frustrated. I wiggled it several different ways as suggested, but I could not remove the cage. I felt like the company was mocking me as they stated that a 130 lb woman could lift it. I also attempted to visit the company's Camp Creek location, but was told that they only used that address as a mailing address. I was totally frustrated and called the 1-877 number and spoke to operator/technician that day. She stated that she would pass on the message that I wanted the Armor Guard completely removed. She did make a suggestion that it could be reinstalled. However, I was not sure if this would be satisfactory considering that I had talked to several people already.
